@@johnnygovroom Thanks Johnny, I personally resonate with Jack's rationale to exclude the trolley handle, since they tend to break, and are often clunky. Nosfet aimed to purpose-build Apex, and that would mean some compromises. Kinda like asking a Porche 911 to have comfortable ride height or cushier seats.
@@johnnygovroom Thanks for the engagement Johnny! I'll add that Nosfet has earned my respect by their responsiveness to user feedback and updated their weak components, like the adjustable teeth. They are on top of their game for this Kaizen.
Woke up this morning to take my youngest to school and I’m still laying in bed and see another Johnny video… your style of riding and the way you speak is awesome. Thanks for doing what you do. It’s dry today in the Pacific Northwest so I’m going to Ride to work, it’s cold but I don’t mind….Cheers Olympia WA
Thank you!!! I have to tell you- your reply about wanting more content has been sticking with me and I can't tell you how motivating it is. Thank you for your kindness- and I have some pretty cool stuff lined up Largely motivated to get it out by your kindness my friend. Cheers and enjoy your ride, I just got back from jumping my v14!!! Let me know how it went! As an aside i love the cold to ride because the layers make me feel safer- is that weird?
@ It absolutely makes sense about the layers, I feel the same way. I have been alcohol free now for 1 year and 6 months with no inclination of ever picking a drop up thanks to this new found hobby. The family dynamic has grown tremendously and I thank God as well as my wife for putting up with me and sticking by my side for 22 years even through the rough times when all I did was goto work and come home and drink and repeat. Cheers my friend and maybe someday we can cross paths but until then I’ll see you on TH-cam. I’ve made a couple videos but nothing like your masterpieces. With time I’ll get better at them. Your vibe is amazing and I feel like I know you and never met you…..Cheers
Of all the trails I’ve ridden, I have never used the trolley handle. Street and flat land I have. Trails if your not riding them your pushing your wheel up down or through terrain where it’s better to grip the handles or body/seat
This is where my mind sits with regard to the "trail" wheels- , in fact my v14 trolly handle just caused grief for me for so long. Fixed now- but man... nightmare sauce
Great info mate, appreciated. Regarding improved wheels: Frontlights are great on certain new wheels like Apex and the Lynx'. - How come Begode Et Max have very small front light, while the mten4 have a massive front lights. ? Im just wonderfin.... Thx for great video ....
@@FinnBjerke thanks so much brother!!! - I have no idea with regard to Begode putting what seems like the mten 5 light on a wheel like the master pro- It’s wild, but I think we are seeing a revolution in quality across the board. I’m hoping af least

Huge miss !! Trolly handle is a must. No padded seat another huge miss. Who helped designed this wheel surely ain’t thinking about the daily euc user!!
And yaknow what? That's exactly the point. They weren't trying to appeal to everyone which is a common mistake found in many other "purpose built" wheels. The daily euc user doesn't need to be thought of when a pure performance wheel is the end goal.
Umm.... I ride the Patton. Would have nice for you to elaborate on the break after break opposed to just saying. No I don't stress test my wheel as I'm not supported by anyone else but me. But it has treated me with respect as I treat it. And I have the 50e cells. Not the s.
Once my apex comes in literally to the day im heading down. I have no problem letting you make a review on it. Some say there here already. Some say we wint see them until February .
Oh boy. No trolley=no buy. Imagine... a flat tyre or battery Metro, down apartment stairs Steep trail with short unpassable section, shops, Dawn Champion going over a cliff again would have to leave it. Never ever buy version 1 of a wheel especially a new brand, the software will suck. Waterproof? Tubeless? You must be mental in the head to buy this, are you sure they have ridden one before, no trolley ffs, couldn't be arsed to design it/copy others i reckon. Totally thoughtless and as for spare parts, version 2 will follow soon, buy again and trust us. Startups huh!
