Hey James, thanks for watching mate! The Evo has sunk its claws into me and I love driving it. In this particular round it wasn’t flowing but the potential is there. The DT03 is a remarkable entry into RC and the TT02B is similar. We should all do more to promote these models for Tamiya to step up and give us some lovely new budget entry buggies with great performance. Now the Cougar…. I remember you saying that and it really is my nemesis. However, I will not be beaten as there is a race car in there which when unleashed I think will be on par with the Evo. There is always next season. I know which buggy you refer to and it might not be 2025 dude. 2024 saw two amazing 4wd models hit the Orchard and 2025 will see the Falcon and the Raider getting some love. I have a number of hop ups and tweaks to some of the fleet ready for another round in 2025. The track is staying as is for next season so the times from this year will roll forward which gives some great comparisons I hope. We lose another finalist next week and find out who comes in bronze medal on the OR… and who will be the final two for 24!!!

Fair play for not giving up with the Cougar anyway mate...... Ive not 'yet' given up with my nemesis the Fazer, and have a new chassis for it arriving from Germany next week (after having steering issues,bearing issues,prop shaft issues,motor issues ,esc issues,switch issues,tyre issues ......the list goes on!)😂 The Falcon and Raider plans sound cool,and it's probably a good call to keep the track the same next year for comparison purposes. All good buddy.😊 👍 👍 👍

Hey Jay, they came off a limited edition TT02B! Mini OaG swapped them for the standard orange ones as she wanted them for her metallic pink TT02B. It was a good swap as both cars look boss 😎

It just lives to fight another day Richard!! One day it is going to get its claws out and dominate the Orchard!! This car has had so many issues but I can absolutely see the potential. The qualifying round it was unbelievable and I think next season it’ll be back dude 🙌🏻

@@theoagrc dam right it will be back, and i’ll be cheering it on 😁 as of next year im back to team schumacher after my year away from them. But has been great running all the other cars. Most have been moved on and are missed a lot. But i am a schumacher fan boy after all lol

@@theoagrc there are rumours of something coming at xmas 🤔 but the procat is a great buggy, pro trans isnt needed if your not pushing lots of power 👍

Hey Mark! Time trials is always about consistency and the more consistent you can drive the faster you can get. I was having an off run when I started the filming for this Finale BUT I promise you we get there in the end dude 🔥 The DT03 is marvellous given the cost of the kit and so is the TT02B for that matter. I know they won’t keep up with modern race buggies but they certainly do a great job on the Orchard! Round two is a beauty bud 😁

I was having a bad start to the finale with all models. I was warming up Fil but it cost the Cougar! I filmed some more laps with her and it didn’t get any better either 😁

The Cougar should have done better but it is tired after qualifying 😂🤣 I was having an off day when I started filming but don’t worry Addam… it gets way better 😁

Cheers mate! Mini loves getting stuck into the unboxing and building of the RCs but her driving it still based around how many donuts can she do 😁 The Falcon is brilliant and I can’t wait to see how this chassis performs against the peers on the Orchard next season!

Hey James, Paul has been very generous putting a Falcon onto the Orchard for next season. I can’t wait to see how this on goes. I am busy collecting a few bits and bobs to make her go great on the OR but also to look good on the shelf too 😁

Hey Mark, it was a lovely donation from Paul who got in touch about putting the rare Falcon out on the OR. I can’t wait to see how this one gets on lapping the OR next season. I am getting it race prepped and then maybe it can sign off the Orchard season later this month with a few shake down laps! It has been a chilled weekend with the family pal, hope you are going ok 🙌🏻

Thanks David! Thankfully Paul sent me a few spares of all the breakable areas of the chassis. I hope I don’t wreck too many dog bones in this one though 😁 I can’t wait to see how it gets on round the track next year. It will be keeping some good company with the Frog 🐸

I think the track favours the 2WD this year but the Top Force Evo was set up perfectly. Each car gets 5 laps so anything could (and does) happen though 😁

Good shout but at the price there are other things I would buy than what is essentially a hybrid hornet/DT chassis

I was unsure what to expect from the Evo as it was the first time driving it. It absolutely blew me away! The Optima was good but the Evo is out of the box good!

I have a Terra Scorcher to put up against these in the future. I am intrigued to see how it gets on as the Thunder Dragon is very well suited to the Orchard

@@theoagrc Now, having spent too much time and money trying get my TC to go faster, I'd say by all means build it and comapre, it will be interesting! If I was going to upgrade that chassis series again for more speed, I'd keep it fairly simple this time around. I'd actualy stay with the mono shock at the front (the TS mount flexes like flexie thing) unless I was making custom carbon shock towers to reduce the ride height, keep it on the stock wheels, strengthen or replace the A5 part, ballrace where needed, add adjustable turnbuckles and flip the rear suspension arm mount to give the rear some anti-squat. Tune out the slop as best you can with spaces and leave it at that. By the time I'm done all that's going to be left of mine is the gearboxes and gears in them...! And it stil won't be a match for the Evo!

@Divefire brilliant list of improvements there pal! I am absolutely going to be looking to compare the TS against the TD and the Evo round the Orchard. I have always loved the look of the TS and I have got a set of VQS hi-caps for it too which I hope do something good!
