Shite gear its like paint no cork in it
It was alright mate, sprayed a nice finish for me. Have you used it?
Great vid. Watched your training one, too. Few questions: Does it go over pebbledash? If so, will it smooth it out? Is it breathable? Would it crack? How does it smell (one person on another video said initially it had a scent) Is it suitable for DIYers? Compliant with industry standards? Thank you
Hi Micah yeah man it will go over pebbledash, it won’t make it totally smooth no, but it will make it more infilled if you get me,it’s breathable yeah mate, I’m not sure about all the regs with any cork products be honest mate
Does the finish feel sharp when dry ??
No mate it’s nice and soft ya know pal
That must be the NewDeWalt Cordless 🔋🔋🧦, Bet they Cost a few Nicker

How much do use get a m2 for level coat mesh and acrylic down there labour only pal ?
What a lovely man. Thank you think you just saved me a few thousand pounds. God bless.
Thanks Karen I appreciate this 👍🏽🙂
On big jobs that will take over a month get a big deposit and stage payments each week so both parties are happy Customer is happy with the work and pays you you are happy as can have the cash flow for bills and paying labourers or other help. Stage payments also mean problems can be rectified quicker and the job flows easier To many lads will do a house and get paid per floor and say pay me once the floor is complete as it’s nice to get a big lump sum, always be aware the customers may ask you not to do some sections I.e the en suit as they are waiting for there white goods to see how it’s going to look or some random excuse But it can be a ploy to delay payments as technically you haven’t finished the complete floor. Always save deposits. It’s nice to get a deposit but bank it Tell the customer the deposit will come off the final payment And be very clear that a deposit is refundable if they aren’t happy but also you will keep the deposit and won’t go back if they don’t pay you a stage payment And in any contract always state the original price you quoted and the discounted price And just say the discounted price is based on doing the whole job, if they find someone else during your work and replace you for no real reason then your price will go back to the original quote. As always be aware of customers hearing other people comment about your price and your timings and everyone knows someone cheaper and quicker and sometimes can affect the customers mind set! Also if you work in your own and get compared with a team let them learn that 1 man for 2 days is the same as 2 men is 1 day And if sometimes it’s better to take a bit longer to get perfection than rush.
I’ve learnt it’s easy to to tell customers a price including vat Don’t over talk about timings So if your there for a day don’t talk hours Don’t salarmy yourself with explains to customers every sing thing your buying or won’t buy as they just get bored I tell a customer a price Tell them I get discounts from the builders merchant that I pass the savings on to them Sometimes it helps to see the job first if it won’t take long discuss a day rate If it’s getting bigger say it will be price work I.e If you are a ceiling to board and skim and it takes 2 days e.g overboard a 20m squared lounge ceiling work on a day rate First day sheet up everything Board it really neat and take your time with not making big gaps and all customers will still ask. And then have all rubbish cleaned re sheet up get water and a mixing area ready Next day go straight in mix and take your time so you can give it a few extra trowels and don’t feel rushed Deep clean even wash the drive way down if there are foot prints and you will stand out being clean as a bad job left clean is better than a good job left dirty If you are doing full houses can always do £100 a wall, £150 ceiling, £50 reveals as will need needing. You then know you have around £600 per room You can always charge this as a labour cost + materials and if the customer thinks it’s to expensive can always lower your price a little bit by 10% Always take a deposit on work even if it’s just labour and they buy materials. Always be prepared for little complaints for customers to get a bit of money knocked off e.g they think some edges are rough or some bits need filling we know decs fill but they may not as 9/10 customers want to pain them sleeves so be confident explain this is normal and always be confident in your work as some customers will convinces 0:26 themselves your work isn’t up to standard so they can bully you on price or threaten to leave a bad review but if it’s good work and they post pictures you will always have people who will stick up for you
Top tips , cheers 🫡
Positive mental attitude, Rely on Number 1, Look After your Family, Keep the Customers Happy, The rest can wait for the bus, Because you'll be Driving your Paid for truck/Tool's,Home and Growing your Business etc, just Hire cheap day rate lad's/apprentices, When Needed, No loyalty don't Need their Drama, if they were Any Good they be doing it for themselves. Your Attention to detail, Great for the Novices 👍
You need to dot and dab for uneven walls ,spreading the back as in the vid is great if the walls are flat.
Decent video , looking at one of these bad boys, very helpful

Can we get more ewi content bud.
Yeah mate we will do pal
Was thinking of doing a plastering course. I'm a civil engineer but it's not enjoyable for me anymore. I will probably try and get some weekend work with a plasterer as i need to keep making decent money
Hi mate Can we skim straight over tile back board ?
No my brother you can’t, too high suction it will fail
Pro spray.i have just bought this machine but there is no videos how to set it up correctly there’s nothing on the internet ,it’s good at showing you how good it runs but nothing on the actual product set up ,I’ve asked a number of times to get a set up video of the machine, there really needs to be a video on the complete set up ,I haven’t used the machine yet due to the fact I don’t want to be spraying it and waisting silicon when it’s so expensive
Respect what a pure honest man down too earth and up front Legend mate im an Electrical engineer thinking of also adding plastering too my skillset set as after any rewire jobs the plasterer is needed next great vid mate top man
Thanks a lot mate appreciated man
your Welcome Mate 🤛
So there’s no rub up??
I used to be a plasterer back in the 90s Got in to window cleaning and started my own business Now 30 years on I run a cleaning business doing everything exterior including roof cleaning etc but don’t do it myself just the office side and do plastering for myself a few times a week for my own extra cash Can charge reasonable rates without being extortionate and it all is extra Mortgage just about paid so looking in to selling up and just doing a bit of plastering for myself and only 50 Definitely good money to be made Easily a couple hundred a day self employed without rushing your arse off Keep it up fella
Been a scaffolder for 7/8 years been made redundant 3 times in a year grafting ya arse off for rubbish money and hardly no work around where I live (Newcastle) Been thinking about getting into plastering I want a proper trade and a sustainable future do you think it’s a good move mate or would you recommend not getting into plastering. I’m 25 years old got a 1 year old son and wanting to get a house asap I want good money now but obviously I’ll have to start from the bottom won’t I ?
Is that a finished topcoat
A finish or are you going over it again ?
Take it back I managed to watch it till the end
