I've tried now on 3 different servers, probably 50 different beaches, and I have yet to find anywhere I can build this where it's deep enough to park the boat but shallow enough to place the gate.

i dont get the bunkers cuz in game when i upograde the triangle it goes to soft side cuz i cant upgrade it from the bottom?

Offline protection isn't great but if you make some bedrooms in every floor online raids are easy to defend. As a solo I defended against 3 people easily, shooting floor is epic! Also added some auto turrets all inside the base with solar panels on the roof, overall nice beginner friendly base.

i cant place the doors on the shooting floor because it says its tooc lose to anotehr building for whatever reason

I pan,ed all the honey and made a second floor and honeyed again lol I ran out of loot storage so i made second floor i needed to Im having a good but rough wipe I keep having terrible bad losses but yesterday did a raid and there was that much loot It filled whole base I just added 2 triangles at the top and made it like an up and over so my front door is at the back now and where old door was i just walled over Its kinda scuffed but i did what i had to do

how much did it all cost

maybe build the base before putting the gate, it takes forever to line up the blocks with the gate but takes no time aligning the gate with the base

i’ve expanded this bunker into the most insane incredible base i’ve ever built free built, i’ve managed to fit the best shooting floor, roof i’ve ever made and managed to fit 6 external tcs with wide gaps EVERYTHING ITS SOOOO GOOD 😊😊😊

You can still make roof bunkers using twig frames if the backside clips into terrain. You have to drop down to get into the bunkered area. It's possible to have a stability and roof bunker combined together, but you need to lay a twig foundation + half wall going into the terrain first and the placement of that is really hard.

You can still build a roof bunker without thatch on the top side. Just use 2 triangle roofs with the side triangle being thatch that you can break and build at any time. This removes the need to upgrade it everytime you want to close the bunker. The key here is that when you have a triangle roof and you place another at it, it will cut off the edges just wide enough you can slip through. Just make sure to use the default skins (as container skin is different and doesn't work).
