I took him down on my first playthrough with a level 5 party! Took FOREVER to kill him as I never through to use the hammer. I had to save and loud a lot, but eventually I got him!

Well... Fire only... plus a battleaxe.

To beat Grym, just have something to kill the lava mephits that spawn, a Fly/Misty Step spell/ability and a lot of junk items, preferably light ones you can carry many of. Once Grym is out, fly back up to the staircase edge and start throwing extra junk on him from above, doesn't really matter what. I use collected daggers, swords, armor, whatever junk I have, even water jugs. When he is not superheated, shoot the wheel with an arrow and it will start the lava flowing again. If he's not standing in it, jump to the platform to the right to get him to move over to follow you. Any item should work as the item carries Fall Damage. I was throwing daggers at him and doing 20-25 damage with every thrown item and he can't touch you up there. Rinse and repeat. The mephits are the only ones that can fly up to attack you.

Removing some 4 munutes in is not what i expected but i guess its kinda necessary lol

As both a Darkest Dungeon enjoyer, a person with chronic health issues, and a BG3 lover - 10/10. I actually love the Leper in DD, even if all my swearing and cursing might give people a different idea 🤔😂

Is there any way to get Auntie Ethel's hairs without fighting her until sshe's scared ? Could that non lethal hit allows me to do so ? I need to know, I crave other way to go over that quest but I don't want to give up on the +1 xD

I know its not as interesting but Red/Gold Dragon Sorcerer going all in on heat and arcane acuity is great. You could make it more interesting by going paladin and add the Thermodynamo Axe, Shield of Scorching Reprisal and the Adamantine Splint combo. You could go 6 levels in each too unless you really need feats.

Toggle non-lethal attacks one, attack enemy. Enemy's HP drop to 0 and enemy dies anyway.

Blew Up w'wargaz Skipped Bernard via dialogue (wasnt worth the risk at the time) 1v4 nere after slaughtering duergar Cheesed grym by operating forge from above and using summons to bait him. It's impressive you did the fight with absolutely nothing not even the clothes on your back.

You could use half orc with relentless endurance to bring the hammer down on yourself and survive with 1 hp.

My favorite way to beat grym will always be minor illusion, baits him on the platform if he fails the investigation roll(which he usually will)

Man I wish I could play with all these things, just not in honor mode. hate only having 1 save.
