Really interesting video. Ive been painting off and on for years but find it hard and tedious. This however has the expected result that as I don't enjoy it, don't hace natural talent for it, my output looks meh and so I don't enjoy it rinse and repeat. Bring on the day I can get preprinted 15mm armies I can print from a machine with magic goo! But I don't want the talent of sculpers to go, so i shall endure lol.

On one hand, wow what fabulous work! On the other, oh my not a chance I'd have the patience for so many steps! Great work indeed!

What a great setup

I picked up the US vs Soviet box. The models look great, the mechanics look interesting and there's actually DECALS for the vehicles included! It irritates me to no end that many of the FoW and TY boxes do not come with decals. Instead they want you to go and buy their extra decal set(s). Always feels like I'm getting nickled and dimed without the decals. Anyways, good review!

Book-nooks can be great short term pallet cleansers in between larger projects. They can be of any miniature scale, scope, and subject while being physically confined to a set physical dimension. They also allow you to flex your design muscles as the forced perspective really leads to interesting challenges. Perhaps you could scratch build one for the channel as opposed to just building a kit sometime.

Tip: if you want extra durability you can push trimmed down barbecue sticks through the corrugations in the bottom layer of the base and glue them in place.

I normally cut some tin foil and place it into the centre of the flag leaving enough room around the edges to glue you get great folds in your flags.

This game exists because sometimes I just want to put some tanks down, not need any effect cards or upgrade cards, and jsut blast my opponent. And because I already have E-100s, Maus, and T95s and more Pershings than I know what to do with. So yeah let's go Clash of Steel!
