Cool. I don't think anything dates post seventies more than shipping containers. The damaged containers is a very useful addition to the range as I believe making my own would be too fiddly and time consuming for the benefits of the end project. We tend to forget that Europe has many river ports on their very long and wide major rivers. So many towns and cities miles from the sea can have docks. I don't know if you get the British program Top Gear which is a motoring show slash comedy. On a number of episodes over the years they filmed a number of shows in docks using shipping containers to create their race tracks. On one episode they used shipping containers to recreate the Pac-Man maze for a car version of that game.
At the moment I'm trying out a Citadel product they call paint stick which is a play on selfie stick. Straight out of the box it is very 25mm plus centric. However with a couple of simple modifications I have grown to like it for painting up 15mm models to the point I have purchased a second one. At my local store I took my FoW 8th Army for them to check out. The first thing that really blew them away was its sheer weight of numbers. They quickly realised their armies were only roughly platoon sized. It was a 150pts Army of 3 reinforced companies. The other thing that caught their eye was the paint job. They were expecting just a very simple paint job.

I used to be a shipper receiver in a previous job....From my experience these containers are all just fine for general use.
