How can atheism breathe let alone thrive in a world with such random senseless violence now, you don't even get the chance to feel safe enough to give yourself time to study the core principals or arguments for atheism anymore. The trouble with reading a ton of commentaries to try to "understand God" is that we are warned to *trust* God with all our minds and all our hearts and all our strength and NOT lean on our own understanding. If you're turning to a bunch of other people's commentaries, you're just leaning on someone else's understanding instead of your own, but you're *not* trusting God.

Tables and chairs "lack a believe in God". Does that make them atheists? Just because you think that theists have not proven their case - this does not justify saying that there is no God. It only justifies saying that you don't understand it yet. An absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. An argument from silence is not valid.
