They do not open at 7am, I made this mistake and had to sit for an hour waiting for them to open the gate at 8am.

Just an FYI, the low flying jets are there because there are a bunch of low level training routes. There is a target area on the east side of lake George and not far away is the pine castle complex.

You forgot to mention that at devil's den the reservation is only an hour and a half slots per reservation you also cant bring anything in and leave on the deck for courtesy of other swimmers . Anything you bring has to be on your body and have to swim with what you bring or leave them in the car

We did Rainbow over Memorial Day used Rainbow River Canoe and Kayak who shuttled us to KP Hole, we paddled to the springhead then paddled/floated back down river and a bit in the in the Withlacoochee to their dock where our car was parked ~7 miles total. I've never been on a hardboard, we've always done the inflatable route and I get the toe cramps from time to time but mostly if we are in saltwater/really fighting the current like we seem to do at Kayak Amelia . I thought it was because I was death gripping the board with my feet 😆

I remember my first time going to ichetucknee springs with our church youth back then you had to chop your way through with machetee and you could put your drinks and food in cooler and float it behind you to the halfway point where you could eat lunch. all the litter bugs messed all that up though. there was no fee at all now its all messed up...

The colors of the water are sooo nice! I just did a vid from a lake in Switzerland, but the colors are nothing compared to your place!

I used to keep a sailboat across lake George at Pine Island marina. Just about every Friday i would sail the 7 or 8 miles and spend Friday night on the boat. Good times.

Yea unfortunately LR not free anymore, I grew up with little river way before the county. Had to take it Over!!! As a Kid I’m 44 now!!! 😂… …. Were in between all these springs in Suwannee. County , Obrien area….. royal is still a hotspot! Go early!! We grew up with all these springs before the county had to take them over because of people destroying and abusing!!! But in a way it’s. Good thing cause now their pristine and Clean family oriented!! Unlike Ginny spngs! (Daddy Daughter)

Awesome guys we’re gonna do this route this weekend, didn’t realize we could Just Park and walk back in to dampiers landing, and drop in and I’ve lived near Ichetucknee all my life lol so me and Daughter are going to go Saturday and vlog we recently went but we used the tram stuff and we do that every time we go but now we have our own kayaks and have not taken them yet because we recently got them so after watching your video I didn’t realize we could just pay the five dollars and take them down to Dampier and put in so thank you guys for sharing lol❤ enjoying y’all’s adventures (Daddy-Daughter)
