To all who have gone, I’m about to go to a multi day, camping, music festival that is going to be hosted in vortex springs. Was wondering what is your opinion on this place holding a festival and can it hold an influx of thousands of people for 5days?
Hi! Vortex has a large footprint. I’ve never been for a music festival or multi day event. But there is quite a bit of land. Personally I wouldn’t shy away from an event of that size. But I have only been on slow days. Sorry not much help on this one.
There are roads on St John in the US Virgin Islands that are just like those jeep trails!
I need to check those out!

@@dcenvironmentalist oh awesome! Make sure you check out the other springs in the area. I highly recommend Ponce de Leon Springs and Morrison springs. There is also Florida Caverns state park. Very cool to go into the caverns. We’ve had a decent amount of rain so there is also a chance that the waterfall will be flowing at falling waters state park. Call ahead to make sure tho. Sometimes it’s dry 😆 I hope that helps!!! PS the water at Vortex is a few degrees colder than the other springs. Just keep that in mind. Have a great time.

Alligators here?
There is always a chance of alligators in fresh water springs. Personally I have not seen one here. I hope that helps!
