"The Dreaming" was the first Kate Bush album I bought. I wasn't interested in her earlier work. This is where she really evolved into the unique artist we all know today. It's a very non-commercial and bizarre album. I love it!

She made my favourite literature come alive even more.

I went into HMV and talked to the guy selling.About rocket man by Kate Bush.He said she had been earlier about 2 hours ago. Lost ten thousand pounds being conned buying shares in HMV. less Divi of one thousand But I made twenty thousand the year before.Have not bought shares since.

Interesting that Kate acknowledged that The Dreaming demanded a lot from the listener and that it took several listens to appreciate it. That was certainly my experience. On my first listening, I remember feeling disappointed with the album. Now I think it one of Kate's best. I wasn't ready for it, at the time.

I remember watching this when it was shown on TV, and those closing moments with Nigel playing The Four Seasons just left me dumb struck at what talented musicians could make their instruments do. I can trace back my current love for classical music to this moment. Thanks Nigel.

When I finally looked into Kate Bush and her work. I'm rather pleased with her work. She has an intelligent insight about her visuals and songs. The story about Whodini and his wife was insightful. I found out she had an Artist development contract. It was definitely worth the investment.

She's decked out in some odd matching winter woolies, she looks white as a sheet, she's never looked less glamorous, but she's still the most beautiful, perfect creature to ever walk the planet. I've been in love with Kate since I was a kid at school and Wuthering Heights came on TOTPs. As an artist, herself and David Bowie are in a different league to everyone else.
