- Kate being presented with a gold record (probably for "The Kick Inside" in Holland) at the Dutch release party for "Lionheart".

My God, i almost forgot how gorgeous she is here. No wonder the 15 year old me started listening to my sister's music for the first time.
The first album I ever bought. Every time I fly into the UK and look out of the window I can hear Lionheart playing in my head.
Wow - exactly the same thing happens with me! Plus, whenever I get up from my seat when flying (to go to the loo or something), I ALWAYS start singing “...dancing down the aisle of a plane...”

Well, you might well be being ironic, but I’ll take that chance: “...dancing down the aisle of a plane...” is a line from ‘Moments of Pleasure’ (Red Shoes album) - referencing Bubba aka Gary Hurst (Kate’s long time dancer, not the guy who invented the Tone Bender Fuzz Pedal) who tragically died aged 31 in 1990. And I do literally dance down the aisle of any plane I travel on, singing the words and melody out loud, at least once - it’s a bit of an OCD thing. But with that said, a couple of “Wow’s” (along with the swinging arms) do occasionally creep in as well. The kids do wonder wtf is this 57 old man doing???

Kate Bush on the Dutch television company AVRO's "Toppop" broadcasted on 16 November 1978 with some footage from the Lionheart launch party in Castle Ammersooyen (10.11.1978). During this occasion she also receives the prestigious Dutch "Edison Award" for 'best international single' for her song "Wuthering Heights".

At 58 seconds in, you can see that she's hiding her cigarette behind her back. She was never proud that she smoked, and fortunately she gave it up years ago (presumably before the birth of her son Bertie).

May be the album is a bit to hastily recorded but I love Lionheart and I'm happy she says she was more involved and it felt more close to her. Wow :-)

Chris Rose I agree that Kate is ultra talented, but one certainly can't relegate her music to the genre of 'pop'. Britney Spears' music was pop, and Taylor Swift's music nowadays is pop. Kate's music is like no other, and I think she would feel quite insulted if her music was referred to as pop, let alone the 'Queen' of it!

I'm aware that it violates Top Pop's copyright, but as it clearly states on your site that you do not sell videos directly to the public - in fact there are no Kate Bush videos available for purchase - how are we supposed to see this otherwise? Is copyright solely the right to prevent people from seeing things? If someone had a video collection with this material available for sale, I would not have this up and would encourage everyone to purchase it.

@KateBushvideos Thanks for you reply, I didn't mean anything against Kate, It's just I read that somewhere that she hated her ears, probably bull. I am a big fan and have been since about 88 just before TSW came out. I am very loyal to Kate I think she has beautiful ears.
