I think that Kate deserves so much respect from the world and after reading many of the comments she gets respect. She is so tolerant, polite, addictive to watch and listen to.In her interviews she has respect for all the interviewers.
At 16 years old, she had over 5 years worth of songwriting behind her...." over 200 songs, she says without even blinking.." !!!!!!!! My god...I thought I was a musician...
uncommonly beautiful, combined with inteligence and a phenomenal talent it's no wonder there's a lot of us out here with a schoolboy crush on her 30 years after Wuthering Heights.
She's so articulate and intelligent that (even as a massive fan) it kind of used to peeve me when she admitted that she wasn't much of a reader. I thought, "I read loads of books! Where's my bleedin' creative talent..?" Oh well...
sainglain Yeah, I suspect she's on of those people who can hear a piece of information once and retain the information. Her creative talent would suggest she's a genius anyway.
always loved how sataisfied she is with army dreamers it really is such a difficult piece to go about and a musical feat in itself without the meaning on top of all that
Kate Bush has got to be the most beautiful, down to earth artist I have ever seen. I sense some influence from David Gilmor, and Peter Gabriel, Janis Joplin. At any rate GO ON THE ROAD I want to see you live!!! Please!!!!!!
This documentary was actually shown on British TV as well. I remember my dad setting the video for it some time in 1983, when it had a late-night repeat on ITV.
Seriously? That's a shame. I have a collection of obsolete video players, and can play nearly every format including some that pre-dated VHS and Beta. If anyone else has any Kate videos that they cannot play, contact me first.
Lionheart was terrific!! But I did notice that the production and orchestration seemed somewhat incomplete for some of the songs, Like "in Search of Peter Pan" and 'Kashka from Bagdad', two of my favorites, but they seemed to be asking for a fuller orchestration. The stripped down approach was wonderful for ballads like In the Warm Room and Lionheart, but the real bangers for me were the 'full instrumentation' numbers: Hammer Horror Fullhouse Wow Don't Push Your Foot on the Heart Brake EVERY single track on Lionheart Still stands as a benchmark in songwriting by an inspired visionary....NOT A WEAK ALBUM!!
Lionheart is definitely wonderful but because it's not as 'strong' as her other albums people put it down. If she had only recorded the first 3 albums it would probably be considered a masterpiece.
Yes they are gone-I met her dad-Robert many times who my friend and his family were his GP in Plumstead(South East London) as a kid and met Kate Bush once when Kate was visting her family in-East Wickham Farm in Welling-(Kent) same house she grew up in since a baby as you know! I still live near Kate Bush in Kent Between Dartford/Bexleyheath way :-) Where you from?

And girls lol..
11 years after your comment, I can't but agree with you. Isn't she enchanting?! Years go by but she still makes me feel indeed like a schoolboy.
@@gianz73 I'm with you
It is the best interview of the young Kate Bush. Man, she is sooo cute and intelligent and also natural, and her voice just blows me away...

There aren't many women in the world more beautiful, but none at all as loveable as KB.

The Second Album suffered, no Lion Heart is a Masterpiece

I couldn't agree more!
What a babe :)
Why does no one talk of my Wuthering Heights?
How many others have you had-lol! Just joking- I agree. Kate is an enigma!
Yes, it was on the garden of East Wickham Farm. Sadly, both Doctor Bush and Hannah are now gone.

Where you from?
wow
That's what I call a real woman.
What fake women are you coming across...? This comment makes no sense, in fact it's utterly idiotic
She's totally authentic. A wonderful mix of the best qualities of women.
?
I thought she had finished school and she was in O level. Hmmm...
She have a child with other man, dude.
You never don't mess with other guy's woman.
