It doesn't seem very easy to find out much about the 27mHz versions. If it works, that's great, though! My guess is that the left button is to change the sound set. The G & K buttons are probably function buttons for things like light settings, volume and other things. They might operate by holding a button then using a direction stick to cycle through settings.

Hi Richard, Thanks for watching. My interior isn't the official one as it hadn't been launched. Mine is a cheap AliExpress one that I fitted with double layers of Velcro. It's not ideal but it's done a decent enough job. Dirty water certainly gets in, but it mostly gets out as well. The body is so tired that I don't worry about it. It's my work horse!

You can only have the full lights if you add in a light control unit. I considered it but decided that I didn't want them anyway. Headlights can be easily added to an extra channel on the receiver.

If they're out of phase, you might be able to take them apart and assemble them with one end 90° rotated but it depends on the type. More likely is that you'll need to buy different ones that are properly manufactured.

You can get lithium-ion or Nickel Metal Hydride. The former will last longer. Both are easier to care for.

Next time we did another family project we will check it out.

@@rcpie The problem is that UK had the brilliant idea to leave Europe and now my main country to order things is out of the question, msot of the times they dont send to Portugal. 😀

@ricardopires4713 We're still in Europe, just not the EU. But yes, it makes things trickier for hobbyists and our tiny markets.

@ricardopires4713 I think it would be too big for a trailfinder 2. The wheelbase might be right but I suspect the track would be too wide.

Hi Hotwheels, I can't remember what the included charger is like but I suspect it's a USB type like you get with a lot of RTR cars. They usually have a little LED which glows red when charging and (sometimes) green when charged. If there was no light, it might not have been working. Make sure that your USB socket has a high enough rating for the charger. 5 mins run time sounds like it didn't charge at all, just the storage charge that it would have shipped with. I'd recommend getting a separate charger anyway. You'll get faster charges and better battery care.

Not had any electronic or electrical issues with any Outback Mini 2s but had an ESC fail on an Element 24.

I'm not sure what you'd paint it with but perhaps several coats of some sort of varnish/ clear-coat might work.

The Sherman works better but the Tiger is super cool.
