Technically humanity did give the Forsaken several chances, first was Garithos surprisingly then in Vanilla a few defect and remain by the Dalaran bubble and are assasinated by the Forsaken under Varimathras orders. Third was in Wotlk when Putress did Wrathgate and in the Sylvanas Book we find out that approved the Blight and even wasn't initially against using it on everyone if it killed the Lich King, but she did not plan for Varimathras betraying her and for the Forsaken secrets within Undercity to be discovered by the Alliance and the Horde forces. Basically causing the Horde to send the Kor'kron to oversee their actions because the Alliance was absolutely furious that living humans and dwarves were being used as living experiments... Also the apothecaries left all the evidence they needed to condemn them and that's why Varian despised them. Then in Shadows Rising they were given one last chance at the Arathi Highlands were the living humans of Lordaeron and the undead were allowed to meet and greet then well you described what happened. Then BFA happened.... Yeah... the genocide of the Night Elves and Battle for Lordaeron and Stromgarde left a bitter taste for the living, but even so, they were willing to let the undead keep Lordaeron City and Tirisfal which was a huge compromise by the Alliance and they took Southern Lordaeron aka Southshore, Gilneas and part of Silverpine. Effectively returning the status quo of Vanilla, but with the living rebuilding and repopulating all over Lordaeron.

Great overview of the Troll race... they have always been one of my fav's and have an interesting past history with many different versions of trolls nowadays based on their tribe and where they settled. According to the lore, Trolls are one of the most ancient races and the elves like night elf are all an evolution from trolls into a very different looking race because of the influence of the moonwell and all that. The troll dungeons/raids are always fun to play thru, and its basically a long tradition in WoW to always have atleast one troll dungoen/raid in each xpac. I think their history of shamanism as well as mixing it with voodoo is pretty interesting. I also love the LOA spirits, and wish we knew more about them... they seem like an interesting group of tribal animalistic gods that were worshipped by the Trolls for various reasons, sometimes even getting blessings and power from worshipping the loas. I can imagine a new class in a future xpac that is like voljin's shadow hunter and they use LOAS to gain power, with each spec having a certain loa that they focus on and channel. I imagine either hunter ranger style play, or melee with polearms or staffs.... much like the current version of survival hunter being a melee class..... but you have Loa spirits who would assist you and help you fight instead of an animal pet. The race itself has some good racials so its always a decent choice for certain classes. I play Enhancement Shaman, so troll is a good choice cause of the bserking racial haste bonus.... but I personally hate the hunchback look tho, which is why I am glad that they added the new Zandalari version of the troll race, cause they stand up straight and look pretty good. I usually stick to orc for horde or dwarf for alliance if I play shaman, but am curious to try out the xandarlari troll race... they even have a racial that can change based on the Loa you pick to get one of a variety of buffs.

Huge love for the Draenei. I really can say if not for them, I wouldn't have gotten into WoW the way I did. I largely play Shamans and Mages as draenei, though over the years I've done about everything except a rogue for them I think. There's something very wonderful in their design that manages to stay juuuussst this side of the fantasy/Scifi line and brings a compelling story and characters with them. The heritage quests were so wonderfully told, I really hope the seeds planted there will pay off soon.

I looooved the Nightborne questing zone and wish as playable Nightborne we got some sort of “starting area”. But alas. (I am obsessed with all things elf related). Thank you for answering my question of course!! My roommate is obsessed with the Yakuza games and I have a friend playing those Spider-man games at the moment. He handed me the controller for a bit last time I was over and it was fun!! Also a close friend of mine is SO pumped for female Hrothgar (dunno if I spelled that right). Right now I’ve taken a WoW break to do some Sims binging lmao. Very boring but chill right now. I’m crafting drama and long lineages.

This was even better than I thought it would be! I have never dabbled I'm RP before but would absolutely love too, I am totally fascinated with D&D things but haven't given a go myself. Have you ever played the game Baldurs Gate 3, aside from the sexual themes I'm sure it gets most of its credit for, it's a seriously amazing RP game? Would you ever consider an RP story session with your community?

My favourite fantasy world is Tamriel from The Elder Scrolls. I played Morrowind when I was a kid in 2002 and I was fascinated by how alien the land of Morrowind was with its volcanoes and multiple moons and some of the otherworldly buildings, yet it still felt 'normal' and like somewhere people could actually live. And I remember thinking a few times "I wish I could live in this world"

so for the same reason trolls got to be druids they should've been able to be warlocks all along

I choose to ignore any lore progression that happened in Shadowlands too.. 😂

I LOVED THIS VIDEO. It was made with so much passion!!! Well done!!! I like the draenei race as well. My 2 races that I love the most are Night Elves and Draenei. In WOW I have 3 characters. 1 male (Shaman) and 2 female (A Hunter and a Pally).

I could be wrong but I don’t think *every* planet has a world soul. For example, I didn’t think Draenor had one.

I love playing my Lightforged Dranei paladin, such an iconic race class combo. I also have a Dranei hunter that I imagine is a Rangari. I thought a Dranei rogue might be weird but they work on a weird level. 🤔

My Draenei Pally has been my main since about half way though The Burning Crusade and have not looked back since. Absolutely love them.

Primarily a human Paladin in any fantasy type game here. I love the lore of humans in Warcraft.

Ohhhhhhh yeah! I've been waiting on this one 🙌 😌! I absolutely love it. My favorite race in the game, Dralkou my paladin main I've been playing since Wrath of the Lich king on and off. I really enjoyed their heritage quest line. The idea of a new city seems awesome but I think it will also come with a fall of a city, maybe the void consumes storm wind in the Midnight expansion, who knows 🤷‍♂️....... lol One of my all time favorite characters though was Vindicator Maraad, I dont recall seeing his spirit at the festival, which was a bummer. After his dealth in the Warlords of Draenor expansion I've had my main look exactly like his model since.
