As you can imagine folks this one took a while to make, so I'd really appreciate a thumbs up on the video if you enjoyed it! And why not share the video with a LEGO loving friend...?
this looked so awesome, I love all the details!! got out my chrysanthemum 10368 build I got for christmas to build along whilst watching and got too distracted watching to even open bag 1...
Fingers crossed it performs well. Between the build and the edit it was about 12 hours work, so not something I can do loads of unless they start getting 100k views a video and I can pay to have them edited for me!
Thanks Kev, loved the home alone and hoped you would try a larger speed build. Really pleased you did, great pace and just right amount of verbal detail.
Hey Kev! Great video. As someone who just got his first two modules with Tudor corner and the bookstore this Christmas I would love a video of mills plates as other good things to know when starting your own Lego city! Thanks!
Great video Kev, love the speed build and less than 20 minute video! Just my opinion as I noticed some like the clicking noises but would be great to add some music over the building part, non commentary parts! Keep up the good content :)
Very cool build and great vid bro! Love all the Batman gear on the unit behind. Given the intricacy of these sets would be interesting to see how they are designed and produced from concept to manufacture.
So satisfying to watch and listen to. 6 hours to build and just as many to edit i imagine. Please do more of this style. The bigger the set the better. Thanks Kev 👍🏻
Ah man this is giving me major Detectives office vibes (my favourite modular) I can’t wait to build this and it looks like a contender- I love the museum from last year but I feel like these sets with multiple themes must be more difficult to piece together and this just looks great. I always wonder what people listen to when building and I’m glad the answer was Brando sando 😂 I’m reading the mistborn books atm think he is a great author 👍🏻 Great content 👍🏻
Really like this style of film, very therapeutic to watch, and since I don't have room for this modular currently, I'll live vicariously through you. The little hoover though!!!
Really like this video style, for myself who sometimes cannot afford these big lego sets its a good way to still get my lego fix. Keep up the great content 👏
Great video, built this myself earlier and I still don't know what the trap door where the hoover is kept is for? Also, the stairs above the toilet are removable to reveal the toilet which is a nice touch. So many little Easter eggs. love it.
I really enjoyed this video! The edited clicks were fantastic, but my favourite bit was combining a speed build with occasional interjections of comments about bits you thought were neat or weird or whatever
Great video as always. This is stunning! I’ve been wavering about getting it right now as it is still a lot of money, especially at this time of year….. Looks like the gwp for this is gone from the Lego website, and can’t get out to a Lego shop due to chronic illness, so no real rush to get it any more. Oh well, decision made. 😂
What are your thoughts on the new box style? I flat pack mine down but not sure if it will still work with the new style on this and the botanical garden set
Hi Kev, Really enjoyed the video, cool to see your thoughts as you went through. I've just picked up the Tudor Corner as my first modular as couldn't resist the aesthetic. Will be building into a street over the coming months. I'd be really keen to see a video on your thoughts of the other modulars as far as building experience/looks/fun/cost etc was to help me decide which to go for next!
Great build! I'm just waiting on mine to be delivered. I'd love it if you did a video on MILS plates. It just about to build my own Lego town/city and I'm wondering if I should put my modulars on MILS plates. Any advice would be gratefully received.
@blockpartyuk thanks Kev. I'm a big fan of your Lego channel and your Lollujo channel! (I'm currently Curzon Ashton and have a similar play-off record to you halfway through the Jazz Club. Would you suggest getting the bricks used from Bricklink rather than spending £100+ on Lego?
Great video Kev!! Hopefully I can pick this up later in the year along with the history museum as they look great together. Is there Any chance you could do the video on the mills plate ? I’m interested to know more about them.
Great vid. I thought you added Green to the MILS plate so you can have the green floor at the back where the trash can is, like Lego depict in their pics. But you built it with the orientation rotated. Also why no technic connector bricks on this MILS plate?
I just went with the plates I had, there was no logic to it! And I don’t connect the buildings together in the city, so no reason to add the technic connectors
Like the fast build per bag. Im happy seeing this in future set builds... one thing though the click, click, click, click, click, clicking not sure if i like it or not 😅
So here in Australia we only got release fourth Jan we also got old style box and all bags are plastic seem Europe and USA got new style Love your work keep up the content
Great video, and what a great set. Can I say that it's refreshing to find a brit making this kind of video? Am I allowed to say that in 2025? No disrespect to the US video makers, but watching this just feels a bit more homely. Anywho, glad you didn't try to say "clock cobbler" (I think the correct term is a horologist?)
I'm just starting my adventure with modulars. Which do you suggest to choose next? 10297 and 10255 were recommended to me. Do you agree with these recommendations?
Love the video! I’ve only been back into Lego for the last year (after a 20 year hiatus) and so far have just the one modular (the jazz club). I’ve got ambitions for a little city (we’ll call it Billerbrickay) and this is high on my list! Did you get the GWP on it too? What are your thoughts on that?
Hi Great video. Just one question did you have a lot of extra pieces left at the end of the build ? I'm on bag 18 but I have probably 50 small pieces left unused ...
Which build did you enjoy more-this or the Home Alone set? I wasn’t particularly interested in this set until I saw this video, but now I’m considering ordering it along with the hotel.
@ I now need to order the Tudor Corner. The Home Alone set was an exceptional build. I placed my order for Rivendell yesterday and will be ordering Tudor Corner next. Thank you for your response, sir.
Yes Lego will give you some spare pieces of the really tiny pieces just in case.but if you are missing a piece Lego if you contact them They will send you a replacement free of charge
Yea Kev! Love this style of big build highlight style! Now I really really want this but my wallet is still saying no. Any idea if likely to be any insider weekends soon?
Some feedback after watching this, I found the noises layered over the sped up building parts quite grinding to my ears. Other than this good content & thank you for showing the set built.
They weren’t sped up parts - they were just fast cuts with the original sounds. No extra audio was added. It goes down really well on TikTok so giving it a try here.
@@blockpartyukI like the sounds as it really gives weight to the building cuts. I can also see @danielfreer29 point as well as I imagine some will find it a bit much….
@@blockpartyuk Got an email this morning from Lego apologising for the delay. I don’t have a Lego store near me which is why I ordered online. How early did you arrive at the Lego store?
really enjoyed the video this build kit may be the one that makes me take the plunge and buy a set. One minor thing the sound effect of the bricks being placed didn't need to be for every placement for me.
Really enjoyed this video but my autistic mind with the headphones having lots of clicking did make me need to turn it down as low as possible 🤣 stunning set but would like some music on the in-betweeny bits please
Unfortunately I don’t think there’s much market for a 6 hour long video of me building the set largely in silence! Our streams are slower paced like that, but for the big sets that are most likely to be searched for, I have to go where the views are and that’s likely this style
As you can imagine folks this one took a while to make, so I'd really appreciate a thumbs up on the video if you enjoyed it! And why not share the video with a LEGO loving friend...?
I bought mine online and didn't want to risk it not being available in store. Can't wait!!!?
I’m asking for this set for my birthday this video made me even more excited for it
I like this style of video, the clicking noises are also very pleasing to hear 👌🏻
The set looks great!!
Glad you enjoyed!
That constant clicking is such a pleasure to hear! I can't imagine it would be easy to edit.
Keep up the awesome work.
From an Australian Lego lover.
Thank you very much! It certainly took a while to edit!
I don't even have a Lego city and I want this set! That roof is chefs kiss.
As is the design of the third floor. LEGO has likely never made a set using that technique.
this looked so awesome, I love all the details!! got out my chrysanthemum 10368 build I got for christmas to build along whilst watching and got too distracted watching to even open bag 1...
More videos like this, top top way to show content and builds

Loved the edit for this video !!!
Glad you liked it!!
Great type of *speed build* video! Love that it’s not too long and not too sort and you explain every bag!
Glad you liked it!
What a set, finished mine this evening.
Some of the techniques used were just amazing. I particularly love the roof section.
What a handsome guy this chap is. He’ll go far.
Love this style of the vid and the edit is brilliant D. Clicking noises are great.
Much appreciated!
Awesome video, Kev. I can imagine how long it takes to edit, which makes me appreciate even more!
What a beautiful looking build

This was really fun to watch!
Thanks for this! I like to use masonry for my front facing Mils and so this was so helpful to see which two sides to prep.
Glad it was helpful!
This is such a cool edit! Love it 😍
Great video Kev, love the speed build and less than 20 minute video! Just my opinion as I noticed some like the clicking noises but would be great to add some music over the building part, non commentary parts! Keep up the good content :)
I prefer the clicking to copyright free music. It seems like it’s pretty much a 50/50 split with viewers
Very cool build and great vid bro!
Love all the Batman gear on the unit behind.
Given the intricacy of these sets would be interesting to see how they are designed and produced from concept to manufacture.
If Lego is sent to invite me along to their factory I’ll happily make that video!
My lego journey started with "I like botanicals" to "that has a plant on it so counts right?" To EVERYTHING...
So satisfying to watch and listen to. 6 hours to build and just as many to edit i imagine.
Please do more of this style. The bigger the set the better.

I bought this yesterday and started making it today. I’m glad I saw 3:36 because I realise I’ve not put the water in the toilet.

You could pretend the toilet has water.
You got a big thumbs up from me brother, all the way from AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺. Love watching you guys , keep up the great work

Currently sat building it. Working in a pub I had to get this one ❤
I enjoyed the format! It was like speed building 😂 It was almost like a hyper lapse. Have you tried any of those ?
i ordered mine online so hopefully will be here tomorrow
What are your thoughts on the new box style? I flat pack mine down but not sure if it will still work with the new style on this and the botanical garden set
I throw all my boxes away, so it doesn’t really bother me. But agree they’ll be much harder to store flat the way some people like to
It looks awesome. I cannot wait to get my delivered.
Hope you enjoy it!

Fitting that the toilet was in bag number 2 🤭
On a more serious note, really like this style of video. Would definitely watch more of them.

They’re the other 2 currently available, so make sense as the cheapest way in.
Hiya Kev, im interested in using the mils plate for mine when it arrives, what do i need to build it. Thanks and great vid again
Highly entertaining, and funny! I’ve ordered mine. I’m thinking it could be taller, maybe I’ll add an extra 2nd floor. Thoughts?
I like it being the same height as all the other modulars, but as a standalone thing bigger is always better!
You could build a fourth floor.
The clockmaker has to be called Steve, after Steve from the repair shop, which let face it only clockmaker any brit can name 😂
I don’t know who or what that is! I feel like I probably would have needed to watch a TV show or movie of some kind…

The GWP is fine, but very small. I wouldn’t rush to get it.
Really enjoyed the way the video was done, I think being able to see it as it's being built is much more interesting than seeing a finished model.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Interesting the buildings footprint seems smaller than normal due more than usual pavement and no doubt the shape of the building
It’s comparable to the other corner buildings I think
