Metal Detecting - Minelab Equinox strikes GOLD!

Went to one of my favorite Civil War sites with the Equinox. Started with the small 6" coil, then finished the day with the stock 11" coil. Really impressed with what I was able to uncover. Many of these finds came from an area I have hammered with other machines.

Using the HF Elliptical coil on the Deus, I return to a wooded area that has produced in the past. Made some great finds and had a brief encounter with a red fox! Calabash Digger's relic program is the best for hunts like this.

Stumbled into an area that contained a lot of iron signals - obviously an old homesite! Among the iron, I was able to pull several nice relics and coins from many different decades of activity. Can't wait to get back to this site. Enjoy!

Good Video 👍🏻
I had two great-great-granduncles killed in the Battle of Perryville who fought in GA Infantry 41st Regiment Company F. One is buried in the hill of dead in the park while the other was badly wounded later to die in a prison camp. When I visited the park's visitor center the folks were very helpful in printing out military info of my kin I had never seen in my research. I discovered one of the uncles had a wife and two children who relocated to Texas after his death. I found a branch of my family tree I had never known before. Highly recommend visiting the park and talking to the folks at the visitor center.
Do.u still.hunt?
Yessir - just not posting much on TH-cam these days.
@7:16 the stick pin. Doc Holliday's favorite Uncle, gave Doc a stick pin, just before boarding on a train to Dallas. It had a small diamond in it. When Doc passed away, he still had that stick pin. But the diamond was missing. Very cool find. Ordered a Garrett TA Pro. South Georgia here. Thomasville.
Great video. I know that the video was make about 9 years ago. But I the minelab 22. I have a test garden. I have sliver and gold and regular clad in my test garden. I have dime at 10 inches the 22 has no problem picking up the dime and nickel at 9 .5 inches no problem picking up the nickel. Comes down to it it's what kind of ground. The go finds are great machines fun to play with. There's days I'll take a break from my Deus 2. And take the go find out and have fun and find money and jewelry to relics. Thanks
Fisher F44 has the best tones
Is that a suspender clip...... Or a window screen latch?
Hi can I use this setup in the forest?
I want one👍
I have a Deus Light now. What are your settings.
Nothing beets the elliptical coil in the iron trash on the deus one, they need to release one for the deus 2 then it will be able to match the d1
Got one for my Lady Friend and she found a gold ring on the beach with her first 5 sweeps, I like it because it's so light and good performance
lowest on elliptical is 13,3khz and if the soil is clean from trush reactivity could go at zero 0.
Awsome and a staff button at that 👌
Got one for my girlfriend, little jealous of it and its lightweight , she found a gold signet ring in the first five minutes on the dry sand beach .
Hope you are doing well, miss your vids! Found my first CW button, Armor Confederate block A just this past weekend. So nervous about the clean up and protecting the button. Do you still recommend the petroleum jelly.
Nice find! I'm still a big advocate for toothpick only (no water) when cleaning. Finishing with a little petroleum jelly is fine, but depends on the button. Sometimes I just use a little skin grease from my forehead or nose to give it a little "pop".
@@TarheelDiggin very appreciated, thank you and happy hunting…post a vid😎
Thank you very much for this video. I just got an F44 and found this video to be a great help in learning the machine! Happy Hunting.
Underground gold metal derector 10 meter depth scan machine name tell me sir.
Awsome finds keep up the videos !!!
Looks like a Richmond sharps bullet
Great find! I just won an auction that has a un dropped Virginia state seal Confederate button, mine was made in Charleston SC it is coming with a 33 regiment button I believe could be British
The spoon/fork handle came from Aunt Pittie Pat's house. Thieving Yankee scum.
Wow 👍
Wow great finds 👏
Congratulations on the Georgia button !!!
I found a pewter block I like that cool mine is missing eyelets but still has some gold guilt on it
What are those long metal pieces with the slits cut into them at the end of your video? I found something similar to that back in December.
Hello Tarheel Diggin' I just came a follower of your channel. I just got in to this hobby and own the XP ORX with the 9.5" Elliptical coil but I can not figure out the set up for wet sand, it keeps beeping due to iron i guess . Can you advice me what settings should I use, I will appreciate it..

Подскажите как сбросить до заводских настроек
some nice finds enjoyed watching 😊
I love the pipe and the coin. So cool! I have subscribed so I hope you are still making and posting videos. You do a great job on them.
@4:42 you said my mantra! “Curse of the live dig”! It seems like 80% of the time when I dig something live, it’s crap. So they are edited out of the video usually. That pipe is one of the coolest things I have ever seen! Congratulations! Really good video! I’m glad I just found you. You popped up in my feed and I’m glad. Looking forward to watching all of them
Hello! I just found your channel it popped up in my feed. Unfortunately it looks like it’s been a year since you posted a video last. I hope you haven’t fallen into bad times. Anyway, I wanted to let you know that you do the same kind of videos I make and I really enjoy this type. You have a new subscriber and a new supporter. I hope you are well! I look forward to watching all of your channel. SwingingDonna
Hi Donna - thanks for the kind words! Just got busy with work and haven't had much time to get out swingin' much lately. Hoping to get back to filming again at some point.
@@TarheelDiggin I’m glad you are well! When you have time make some videos! And as always, keep swimming and it’s the best thing in the world for everybody mentally and physically
Hey, where are you located in central ga?
Good info. I have used the GIS to obtain permission. Some people that own property live in a different state so I wrote them letters
Nice 👍
Please add some new videos! We enjoy watching them ❤
How deep is this machine in centimeters?
Some states just have different historical priorities abd resources. These are really great. Thank you for sharing. I've found Pennsylvania has very extensive aerials. As well as coal mine maps from compiled over the years. You can find a lot in the University of Pittsburgh. Right now, I'm in Oklahoma and have some options for accessing historical maps. Topo maps from 1897 across the entire state. Anyone else from Oklahoma with any recommendations?? P.s. I'm happy to share the source for the topos i mentioned.
You still swinging? I'm in Lenoir County. Let me know if ya want to hunt.
Did you ever have the pipe appraised and/or dated?
Really enjoyed your video! Thanks for it!
Hou Underground Inch
Love that pipe!
Great 2021 recap!!! Very nice relics!!! I'm new to your channel!!! God Bless!!!
Not fake true video.
I have the go find 40 and it is really nice and easy to use. The deepest coin I've found was a dime at about 6 inches. Most of my finds were about 3 inches deep. Over the years I've found a few dollars worth of coins and tons of junk.
😲wow sweet find
Just purchased this unit excited first time detector hunter cant wait beach trip in 8 days
