Great finds, and grats on the GA button. I just found my first pin fire casing last year and had to call Seven who did an awesome history clip on them. I think they were the 4th most popular pistol round in the Civil War. Thanks for sharing....Ron
Thanks Sandy - you know I love those state buttons! You could probably tell when I figured out it was a GA button. Those digs get my blood pumping. HH!
I really enjoy your videos, I don't understand why you don't have any likes. I was referred to your channel by The Hoover Boys they think you are the "Bee's Knees", Your finds are really worth looking at but your videos are so short. Thank you for letting us in to see a part of the world we may have never seen without out you showing us.
Thanks for the kind words, Suddenly - I like to keep my videos under 15 minutes. Seems that's the attention span of today's generation. I just enjoy the hobby so much and the history is so important! Much more important than the number of "likes" or thumbs-up I receive. HH!
Clip is Nice to start off , and the Buckle ... Yes sir love it Matt Pulling up that sweet gen. service cuff ... I would of never know but I know you are thrilled to have that Georgia Cuff button .... That a gorgeous Pin /brooch ... Keep me away from those ants man ..lol. moly mobs .. Congrats on your Georgia Button and the rest of your awesome finds
Very nice Matt! Congratulation on the Georgia button!! It still looks good to me! But we've all done that, I totally ruined a token in electrolysis once, I must've had it hooked up backwards. Anyway, gorgeous sash buckle or whatever that is. Best wishes, Chris
Awsome hunt Matt. Love that pin/brooch..very delicate and ornate. Congrats on your Georgia cuff button. I'll have to look up those french casings..very interesting. HH Eric
Matt, the Georgia button, would that have been Georgia Volunteers, or Georgia militia? At any rate, what a sweet, sweet find that is. The general service button is awesome as well. Great hunts for sure. You sure got those fire ants riled up, lol
matt youd better be bring some tonnage of bait for those ants..... you keep kicking up thier nest ...... they will remenber you and hunt you down in packs.... when you are on ur knees digging....either that or bring a peace offering of lots of sweet sugery foods for the damage you did to thier nests....glad you had a good safe hunt;];];];];]
LOL Patty - you crack me up! I always save the fire ant mound demolition for the very end of the hunt. I try hard not to upset them while I'm there, but I can't resist... when it's time to go, I let them have it! HH
Lovely finds Matt...you don't always get the quantity but you certainly achieve the quality! Loved that Georgia button...
