We are all beholden to the institution of DUALITY. You your linage inception was initially FORMED ( from elements) not BORN ( biology), however, both are in a symbiotic relationship. You have already manifested from the elements of the Universe and transcended. Your source that FORMED is imprinted with knowledge of the reality of things. So called teachers and guru's have ignored their imprinted knowledge and their FORMED source presence within in lieu for Harry Potter beliefs and consciousness to be the be all end all of hunky-dory beliefs. I mean to not even recognise DUALTY on their part, that alone will never bring all the people together. So called teachers and guru's beliefs is transgression.

The problem with non-duality is it speaks a language of non-reality. Non-dualists tell me they are one with the universe but can't tell me what it's like on Pluto. If they mean they are connected in a metaphorical sense they are unable to explain it to me. To me being one with the universe is just an illusion that they are happy to support because it feels good.

I had some mad confidence, even in my twenties, that all the institutions were corrupt, and I would have to make my way without them, because I'd only get so far into them before I had to resign anyway. I studied physics and worked in a physics lab, and to my horror, I could see that even that was tainted by things like grants from the Defense Department. (And oh the kissing of the ass of that troll of a washed-up Nobel Prize winner!) I'm grateful that the universe "cooperated with my love of truth," and a nice life has been carved out for me, including being inspired to write a novel that helped me get over the last bit of clinging I still had to mainstream "success" and prestige. And now, finally, nondual ties it all together. The missing piece I've been searching for all this time. Thank you all for your efforts. They matter.

It seems so normal to me. It's called love.

I have a similar approach, just consciously choosing to rest as the background of experience. Not that thinking stops, just doing my best not to engage with it. Being with feelings and sensations is also helpful, as they exist in the now. I do find better creativity and ideas tend to emerge from there, but one has to let go of any expectation around that which is more thinking and wanting.

There is no "one size fits all" on the road to Realisation. The intellectually gifted are often cursed with a powerful sense of personal self which can be a tough nut to crack

Great conversation - still with the men’s club though Simon? None of the three of you ever interview the other 50% of humanity. Are you aware of this? And more importantly, why daren’t you go near women?!! Genuine question. I’m Not being provocative. If you all TRULY embody this Understanding, then why do you all purposefully miss out women in your interviews? If you truly feel equal to us, why miss us out as if there’s only men walk this planet? When humans avoid anyone, they either feel superior…or inferior. In my experience, males are conditioned early on in their lives to feel superior. Because this world is governed by the eyes and therefore physical strength and size is everything. But this conditioning is not matched by a male’s experience is it? We constantly see women outstripping men educationally, emotionally, psychologically, empathetically, in the ability to cope and carry the world. Is here where the problem lies? Men’s conditioning does not tally up with what they experience? There’s a conflict there isn’t there? Something to consider growing into in the new year perhaps? This is from a female spiritual teacher to a male one; someone who TRULY embodies Non Duality. Loves it and walks it. The argument ‘there’s no woman and men in ultimate reality’ is not valid here at the level I am speaking. If there truly isn’t any women or men, then why are you missing one sector out? At the level of this world, there IS male and female conditioning and we must work with that, at that level. Thank you. With TRUE love. ❤

There can be endless “reasons” we could come up with to explain our actions in any given moment , like playing in wood shavings and sawdust trying to show the table that was made. Which lens do I use to examine my reasons for actions for which they did not confine? Like weighing the catch of the day after market.

Oh my God. I cannot believe what I hear. Of course is not a coincidence that we perceive with smell, color etc. but it is the other way around. Unless you don´t think that Darwin was right, the perceptive system is build around reality, not the other way around. It's proof is the the species survive. So, yes the reality can be perceived in different ways but it does not depend on our watch.

Another idealistic approach to reality that takes us back centuries, to the time of the solipsistic Bishop Berkeley, or the late 19th century era of idealistic scientific positivism. Marx and Engels had decided on these issues and culminating in Lenin and his book "Materialism and Empirio-Criticism" definitively answered the idealist nonsense. There is objective reality independent of us. The Earth and the moon existed before the appearance of humans and will exist in the event of our disappearance. Don't listen to the fools, who only exist to confuse the ignorant.

Kastrup says we can't talk to dead people, and yet, yes we can. There is a growing body of credible research around "near death experiences" that proves consciousness remains after the complete shutdown of the brain and body. People will disagree that this is proven, but their disagreement is not based on knowing the evidence and finding a logical fault with it. Their disagreement is based on refusing to acknowledge the evidence, refusing to look through Galileo's telescope. That is everyone's right in a free society, but it has nothing to do with logical inquiry into the nature of our reality.

An obvious counter-argument - what about anaesthesia? When you're out, you're totally out, there's absolutely noting in-between.

So, my sole worry is that my soul will forget all the 3d when moving to 5d, interrupting the experience, I wanna be able to contrast slow vs immediate manifestation. The other day I cried because I cannot deal with the fact that I will have an interrupted experience with my nine year old Marco and wife Marija, from this perspective I’m not interested in having a higher soul connection with them up there, I want to have a connection with them as they are quirky and charming down here, I want my downstairs family, not soul upstairs family, I want a continuous experience with them with no memory loss upon ascension, so we can play around with immediate manifestation. As a self described Blu-ray starseed I might not make it to 5d, might be send somewhere else, I want to see new earth with uninterrupted memory and family, I also really want to see how things are ran upstairs, from my current perspective my sole affirmation that it’s a moral organization is that it seems to optimize for discern and moral agency.

I was a materialist that made a hard left weeks ago towards idealism, NDE experiences of so many people is what i consider a stepping stone toward explaining idealism

I am neither knowing nor am I unknowing that which is referred to as death. I am neither knowing nor am I unknowing that which is referred to as the presence and awareness. Give up. Ask the question with mind, emotion, feelings, and the world of the senses. Ask "What is this knowing and unknowing about that which this refers to as consciousness/awareness/the now? Ask it. Be honest. What answer do you get? No matter what that which is labelled the "awareness now", it defies definition. Take the hint! Anxiety is the fear and desire of knowing and unknowing. When in truth it is about that which is referred to as being. Being what? Do you remember a beginning? Have forgotten an ending? Nonsense!

The discussion of deep, dreamless sleep is fascinating. Something I've never heard. However, the rest of Bernardo's argument does not work for me. All these states discussed do less to "shut the brain down" than, in particular, the deeper NDEs. The medical data is quite clear on this point. And identity is retained in even the deepest of NDEs. The same is true for many deeper psychedelic experiences, and I speak from experience here. Further, I was one of those crazy teenagers experimenting with choking, a kind of precursor to experimentation with psychedelics. In these experiences, too, identity was retained, for me and others at least. We simply have TWO BASIC TYPES of transcendent experience, one in which identity is dissolved and another in which it is retained. I believe we need metaphysical models that accommodate both basic types, as equally reflective of (different aspects of) greater reality.

This is the way we heal our neuro networks and repairs neuro elasticity
