    So, this is 5 years old but, being relatively new to the mtb scene, I just had the courage to give this trail a run after watching your video. The opening berms have been built up massively over what we see here, but very rideable. I had to stop and case the two stone-paved ramp-downs that follow, riding the second a couple times before taking it from the top, eventually reasoning that I've ridden down stairways of similar height along the Torrens. Aside from that, a bit of a hiccup getting up on the rock garden you mentioned, forcing a re-do, and not so much trouble getting around that loose right-hand swtchback on my XC bike. Beyond the road crossing it just feels safer. Any newbies, remember to keep your rolling momentum over the step-downs.

    I don't get why that's a black. Compared with blacks at Kersbrook or O'Hall, it's just not the same league. I appreciate it's big but technically nothing scary. I dunno, maybe there should be a grade between blue and black. I say this having nearly bust my hip on it, just a few weeks back. 😅

    Really cool seeing the app on screen as you ride. A bike shop near me rents these out for a weekend for like $80. I'm thinking of grabbing a Float X2 Factory and using a shockwiz to get dialed in. Right now my shock only has rebound and lockout (Super Deluxe Select+).

    I came here today and rode all of the DH tracks leaving DH 3 for the last lap, it was an adventure but I got through it without putting a foot down, good experience.

  • @jimji2774
    @jimji2774 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    So why is the higher setting referred to as climbing mode? I can see where slacker is better for downhill and and being more stable. I am just looking to make my truck rail turn a little quicker in the tight stuff so high mode is what I will try for that now.

    • @bjmsamrlm

      How did that work out for you?

    • @jimji2774
      @jimji2774 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bjmsamrlm I'm not sure except that the higher my pedals are off the ground the less rocks I hit with them so I will take as high as I can get for that reason alone.

    Great videos!! Thanks for taking the time to make them. Just got the ShockWiz. Can I do the calibrations at home, throw the bike on my rack and then start the ShockWiz once I hit the trail or will car ride over throw it off and would I be better to just wait until I got to the trail to do set up and calibration? Thanks!!
