    I had both model David Browns that you have bought them both used at a very reasonable price. Loved those tractors, never had any problems with either and both very fuel efficient especially the 990

    I live in southern West Virginia. I have been to your area. I’ve been to Sneedville several times. I bought two trailers and a truck bed from Greens. Beautiful country. I have a New Holland Workmaster 60. I’ve had it for 8 years.I love it. Like yours it is a little light on the rear. I have fluid in the rear tires and 2 weighs on each rear wheel. I keep it in 4x4 all the time when I’m in the field. But here we don’t have much level ground.

    Great video, I always enjoy your videos. I never knew Valtra/Valnet had been in the US. They are a Finnish brand, now owned by AGCO. Valmet was rebranded to Valtra about 25 years back. They owned SISU engines which many reckon is the main reason AGCO bought them. The 3 AGCO tractor brands in Europe are MF, Fendt and Valtra

    Do they make an eight bale that rotates 90 degrees with a hydraulic cylinder so you can make a tie layer?

    • @lambfarms1
      @lambfarms1 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      For some reason I’m thinking true 8 bale grapples will grab sideways to make a tie pack. I think where mine is a 10 that’s why I was busting strings

    I have a kuhns 10 bale flat accumulator with the tie grabber. I chose the kuhns because it is all gravity and gravity never fails, I have put around 135000 bales through it and all I have ever had to do was replace a few 10 dollar springs for the diverter gates, the springs seem to last for about 30000 bales or so and take about 30 seconds to change. your grabber would work good with there 10 bale flat accumulator you should check one out. The company goes by norden mfg now but is still owned and operated by the kuhn family they are a awesome company to deal with, 2 years ago they contacted me and said I the tie grabber I had was one of the ones that had a certain valve that was having issues, I told them mine was fine and I had used it for 2 years, But they insisted on replacing it and sent a man out and replaced my valve right at the farm he showed me the part that was failing and mine had started to fail but I had not noticed it yet but I would have in the next 2000 bales or so, he said he was going all over the country replacing these faulty valves so the customers did not have to deal with the hassle of taking the unit back to the dealer to get it replaced. He said it was there mistake and they were going to make it right. Any company that stands behind what they build the way the kuhn family does is top notch in my book.

    I know exactly where Greene’s is. I didn’t realize they sold the Valtra’s. That probably explains where the one I saw in Speedwell came from.

    4 front and 4 rear grapple setup could work well, with a small tractor it would be very efficient and workflow would be excellent. The utility too of it is great also. Fits most places. Quieter. I like the older small 4x4 kubotas with front end loader, uses no diesel, doesnt impact the fields. light, hard to get stuck, AND it can still pull well being 4x4 better than most 2wd tractors of much larger size. Not too high off the ground either. Short wheel base doesnt kick and buck as much. One could manage ALOT of land with one of those, if you 'implement' a no till no shred policy. Sickle bar mower would be my first choice and probably that baler, or even an older one. Can do it very well. I would invest in bulletproof tires for one of those little tractors and keep the sunlight rain and outlaws off of it.

    • @lambfarms1
      @lambfarms1 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That guy that has the accumulator in the video clip I put in cut down a 10 bale grapple to use on the front of his little Kubota to a 5 bale. They also made a 10 bale 3 pt hitch to haul to the barn.

      It is a mix of fescue, orchard, crabgrass, dallis grass, gama grass, and young barnyard grass. To be honest, it is kind of just what comes up in my creek bottoms this time of year.

    I recieved a Case knife from my grandfather in 1967 when he passed away. He was a rancher and carried it every day. Its a larger pocket knife than these shown. It has three blades, the short blade has a flat screw driver end plus a old style can opener. It says CASE XX. I belive it is a 1940-1950. How can I tell the age.

    100% agree. If you share the serial number off your tractor (embossed on the flywheel housing flange below the battery swing out), I can look it up for you and get the exact day, factory and shift she was made.

    The one reason you are getting nice bales is that you have selected a proper feed to hay ratio for the baler., nice even wind rows ( thanks dad ) Most people I watch making square bales are hogging the baler, wrong speeds on tractor loose, sloppy wind rows, baler tensions not set right.👍👍👍✌🏻🇺🇸👏
