I just did this to my ps4 and it was great at idle, but now every time I put a disc in the fans go all out at max rpm it seems. IDK what's the issue. It doesn't even feel all that hot. Just every time I put any game disc in the drive, the fan goes all the way to the max, loud. Iv'e searched and I don't know what the issue is. I've tried reapplying the thermal paste and reseating all ribbon cables but still, it always goes loud.
@@zoomermcboomer4771 That's weird. What brand of thermal paste are you using?
Большое спасибо из России! Сделал все как вы показали, лучший способ чистки пылесоса.

I know I’m a year late but I was wondering why the corners of my model simply aren’t coming off?? I double checked and this is definitely the right one but it seriously won’t budge 😭🙏
@@happyirl6243 Can you explain exactly what is not coming off? On this model, the bottom cover in particular is very tight. The 2nd way I show actually always works well for me.
Thanks 🙏!!!
Impossible to get rear filter cover off like this like most youtube diy vdos this is dishonest, ignore it
@@simondalton-vr9vw What a pity you can't get it off this way. This is indeed a tricky part to get off. Be careful not to break the part while removing it. If you know of a better way to remove it (in one piece) please let us know.
who else broke the connector to the power supply😢😢
@@mr.taptap7949 What is damaged? The connector on the cable? Or on the motherboard? How did it happen? Did you hold the wrong part of the connector with the pliers?
Thank You for this detailed tutorial!
This video is divine. Thank you!
The V8 was so much easier to dismantle and get cleaned thoroughly. Such a disappointment.
Excellent video without say anything keep doing your work👌👌👏👏 really helpful to me... Thank you😊🙏🙏
I did everything in the video except add thermal paste I guess I just didn’t know I needed it. I then removed the old thermal paste and didn’t add new paste. After finishing I put everything back together and turned on my ps4. It turned on with a blue light for about 3 seconds then the white light came on as well as the fan. The fan started to run fast and loud and the ps then turned off with 3 beeps. Should I disassemble the ps again and add the past then it would work or might there be another problem? Please help.
@@johavansittert2304 No worries, this is indeed due to not replacing the thermal paste. Cooling paste replacement is not optional. Once everything is put back together with cooling paste, it will work again as usual.
@ awesome I did it and the ps4 works as good as new again thank you very much for the assistance.🤘🏻
@@johavansittert2304 you're welcome. 👍
3:15 man, i ripped the connector off the pcb and the pads along with it. it will need a repair. 😢
@@somerandoasshatontheintern8337 That's annoying, unfortunately that's not an easy repair to do yourself. I hope you can get it fixed.
@@SpareTimeWorkshop thanks. i found a repair shop nearby and they're working on it right now. thanks for the helpful vid, btw. i've no issues doing the teardown. just with that stupid connector. lol
Un grand merci pour cette vidéo très professionnelle; bien filmée, explicite, une pépite!
The dumbass in me managed to cut 2 wires of the 5 wires connector that plugs the power supply to the motherboard with the needle nose pliers... Thank God there's parts on the web and I'm hoping to receive it tomorrow! Awesome guide! Not all the guides out there show disassembly AND assembly on the same video! Cheers!
@@imperialkain4838 Thank you, what a bummer that your cable got damaged. I hope you get the cable soon so you can play games again.
Super tuto, très complet et insiste bien avec zooms sur les points délicats. Je n'aurai pas pu le faire sans çà. Bravo et merci.
Best video on how to thoroughly clean it up! Thank you
A very good video. My Dyson was absolutely filthy. My motor needed replacing. After dismantling, cleaning and replacing the motor and seeing inside the Dyson. I will likely never buy another one. Twice while under warranty I got a replacement, the first replacement sounded like the motor was ready to crash. The second replacement worked till a short time after the warranty ran out. When it fails the next time it will find a new home in a landfill or at the recycling center.
Mine had an additional connector (just two wire prongs coming off circuit board) just to the right (outside) of the main battery wire harness connector that had two very thin black wires that is glued and taped to the top of the battery on the other end. I noticed your battery or any on Amazon no not have this. I will plug it back in when I receive my new battery but is it necessary to tape it back to the battery or just leave it near the battery “flopping around”? Is it some sort of ground wire? Thanks! Great Video!
perfect tutorial, thank you.
I ain't doing that to risky for me
Its honestly not that bad I thought it was too but my ps5 broke so I had to go back, decided to do it being nervous, but after following the steps and keeping the screws and parts in order it was super easy.
Ima do it if i have to 😭🙏
0:31 What does this little round cap do?
@@alisirinkara1546 You can put ground coffee in there.
The transparent round cap is for vetilation. The Brew Chamber comes back after brewing and the steam can go trough this chimney.
I could not for the love of god figure out how to remove the motherboard my first try. Thank you so much for this.
Amazing video! No bs, no annoying music, straight to the point, not skipping a step. Perfect! Helped me to replace the battery without having to find out myself what to do.
My goodness. Now the question is if all these steps are really necessary.
Very helpful video. Thank you. Like many other commenters, I am disappointed with my Dyson. I expected better for the price. As a person with ADHD, your video was most helpful without the voice over, and distracting music. Thanks for taking the time and patience to put this together for free. This is a true service to help people who are so inclined to repair their own Dyson. Not for everybody, but for some a real game changer. Thanks again.
@@dalehamlin7383 You're welcome, nice to read that you like my video. I read it a lot with this video that people are disappointed with their dyson. I myself use a dyson v8 with upgraded battery. And am actually quite happy with it if I'm honest.
Of course the model ps i have has a thousand parts to take out...
The reason why dysons are so expensive because they need to recoup the hourly wages of the assemblers
Does anyone know the charger for the Dyson V7, how many volts, please?
@@ssaafassff879 I do 26,10 volts
Merci infiniment pour cette super vidéo. Je n'aurai jamais tenté de le faire seule sans tuto. Grâce à vous, mon Dyson est comme neuf ! Encore merci 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I tried this and f**ked up I accidentally cut the wire to the power supply and now I gotta get a replacement power supply. 😅 (I bought my ps4 used and the power supply connector was already damaged and hard af to pull out so when I eventually pulled it out the pliers slipped and cut the wire 😢)
@@LDG_Exotic How annoying. Can't you just replace the cable? If you grab only the edge of the connector with pliers. Then the wires won't be damaged.
Legends, Thankyou!
I bought one of these last week. Now i am really regreting it. I don't want to do all of this. What a nightmare!
Nice tutorial. But it’s not for everyone. Most of us will waste the money and buy new one.
Just missing the part I really wanted to see which would have been removing the motor assembly from the housing / handle. Any suggestions on this?
@@goadamson Unfortunately I don't have a video of that, there is one on youtube from someone else. What I do myself when installing and removing the motor. Is smear some isopropanol alcohol on the rubber. Then it slides in and out more easily. Without damaging the electronics. Especially when installing the motor, this works very well. The alcohol evaporates.
@@SpareTimeWorkshopThat did the trick. Thank you for the advice.

I’m about to rip the motherboard cable out…what should I do it’s completely stuck used the same tool but it will not move nearly ripped one cable out
@@dinasty00reign Try disconnecting the cable at the powersupply.
@@SpareTimeWorkshopok thanku and what should I do if I didn’t emptied the disc drive so while cleaning I accidentally took the disc out and built the ps4 together without it do I need to open the ps4 again and put a disc in the disc drive mechanism or is there an easier way
@@dinasty00reign No that's not a good idea. If you try to put it together with a disc in it, you will likely damage the two micro switches in the top corner. If you cannot insert a disc now, you can try using the manual eject screw to move the disc drive to the correct position.
Thanks so much! This was exactly what this 64 yr old Nana needed. When times are tough, the tough get tougher! Excellent job on step by step instructions. I was afraid I would get it apart and not be able to get it put together again. But you went through the entire process! Thank you so very much! ❤❤❤❤

Excellent video. Thank you !
Perfect step-by-step guide👍
Thanks for video my ps4 runs great now thanks to the video I did an deep clean job My god what an dust in the console😂
@@tommiegun1980 Yes over time your ps4 can catch quite a lot of dust. Haha. Nice that it's dust free again now.
First of all thank you for this video! I had no idea the cover even came off this way. Mine had no screws at all and I had to start with the front side first. Just had 2 locking tabs on each side just GO SLOW. Mine is a 2014 model so may had something to do with lack of screws. YES you can absolutely 100% wash the whole cover in soapy water. There is zero electronic anything on the cover portion just fabric and plastic. Soft scrub brush and some Dawn or Simple Green.
Nice video, but... are the batteries for pre- and post-2016 version the same? If not, how to identify the correct one for my pre-2016 model, with serial number TL0282?
You can't tell that from the outside. The best thing to do is to take the old battery out and order the same number as the old battery. Pay attention to the shape of the connector and the location of the red wires. The red and black wires are swapped on some batteries
@@SpareTimeWorkshop thank you for the prompt response. Much appreciated!!
Merhabalar dayson v8 supurgem hicbir motor basligi donmuyor ama supurge calisiyo sadece motorlu basliklar donmuyo neden

Amazing detail, no talking, dog barking, kiddo crying in the back ground! Thanks for helping me clean up my new $10 v7
Should of named the video "SUPER DEEP CLEAN" because this ain't no ordinary cleaning if it involves nearly deconstructing the internals of the PS4 and rebuilding it back XD
@@IntegrityRonin Haha, I'll think about renaming it. It does indeed have to be far apart to get clean properly.
