I just purchased a 2019 equinox LT 1.5 that was originaly from Canada and just noticed that I had something covering the radiator it kinda looks like this but different. Does it need to be on there? Can I take it off? I was on the highway in 20° weather for 10 minutes and the coolant temp was 199°.

P.s Who is the person that designed the golden eagle on the jeep hood .?? That is so cool i had a 79 cherokee golden eagle , and my mom had the j 10 golden eagle truck when i was a teenager. Always loved the golden eagle models

Dude, I've installed thousands of sun roofs, moonroofs, vinyl tops, leather interiors... pretty much anything that can be glued or screwed to a car I've done it. If you plan on doing more of this kind of work in the future I would buy a tool called a Uni-shear. Mine was made by Bosch. I paid less than $200.00 for mine, but that was 1990's money. You need a bigger starting hole to fit the shear. Then just stick it in the hole and cut. The shear only cuts in a counter clock-wise motion, but leaves a perfectly smooth hole. All you have to do after that is to put some primer on the edge of the cut to prevent rust. I was in the business for over 30 years and 90% of the job were brand new cars. Kind of nerve wracking the first few times you cut into one. My employers used to give me all their harder cars to do because, I knew what I was doing and wouldn't damage the Maserati, and Jags and the like. I'll check out your FB page and possibly leave contact info incase you get in a jam and need some advice. I'm also a pretty fair mechanic and like to make cars go fast.

1/8/25; I have what I believe is the same cover that I bought used several years ago. I recently installed it on my '05 Ranger (Its been actually quite cold here in Florida over the holidays and I cannot get it to snap completely on. Hopefully when it warms up it will be able to be pulled and snapped on. It looks like you were installing when it was very cold as well as evidenced by the snow.

Mine is doing the opposite. The light won't come on in the dash, but it's stuck in 4x4. I'm assuming it's the same thing. Going to switch the motor.

Congratulations for putting this material out there. I am a Jeep lover, I have a 2021 Willys Gladiator, and I remember seen a 2005 Prototype in a car show in Philadelphia. That’s when I felll in love with the Jeep Gladiator and promised myself that I would get one one day. But much to my surprise that after having this Gladiator, come to learn that they had already been around since 1962. I have really enjoyed this video, about the prototypes, loved it, too short if you ask me. I really love this vehicle and thank you guys for taking the time to put out there such material. Great Video, My local community college have a degree program that will teach you enough both Body work / Painting for an entry job on this field, its only 17 credits and they will give you a certification at the end of the program , I think I might start on this to set my foot in the door. I have tried applying to local shops but no luck and they mostly want experienced.

Hi- Question> my daughter brushed against something with the front bumper. Right below the headlight the gap is a little bigger/looser than the other side. On your video it looks like no clips/screws on the bumper itself (below the headlights) but looks like the bottom of the headlights have clips? is that correct? do they help hold the bumper on?

Did you not use crack sealer before you painted it? I mean, I hope you did because you know you wanna steal the crack before you guys paint down otherwise that will happen. I’ve seen many people use crack sealant and then when I paint it, the cracks never come back because the cracks were sealed before painting
