    Something unrelated, and I thought I would comment because I know that comments help you out with the Al Gore Rhythm. ESPN has been talking a lot about Lebron joining the Warriors. I didn't think that there was any smoke behind this until Lebron, after having a lot of rest because of cup elimination, has left the team for "personal reasons". To me, this COULD mean that he's sitting out so not to get hurt while the team makes a deal happen and everyone has been quiet about it. I put something together in the trade machine that could make it happen and would make everyone happy. The Lakers ship Lebron, Max Christie, and Bronny James to the Warriors. The Warriors send out Andrew WIggins, Deanthony Melton, Jonathan Kuminga, Gary Payton the second and Lindy Waters the third and whatever picks needed to sweeten the deal to the Wizards. The Wizards send Kyle Kuzma, Malcolm Brogdon, and Jonas Valancunas to the Lakers. If the Warriors think that Lebron is the answer to their problems, then this works for them, They are not completely gutted. Kuminga was asking for a max deal and the Warriors don't want to pay him that. The Wizards get expiring contracts, draft capital, and the restricted free agency rights on Kuminga. If they decide he's a building block, they can keep him or let him walk into free agency. Wiggins is the only guy with a few years on his deal and he's not really expensive. He can also be flipped for a pick at a later date if the Wizards want. If the Wizards need to clear roster spots for this, they have cap space or can trade for some second rounders. The Lakers get what they have needed to fill out their roster. Malcom Brogdon gives them some point depth. Valuncunas give the Lakers the bruiser they need to match up with Jokic and let AD be a help defender against Denver. Kyle Kuzma gives the Lakers depth at the forward spot. Lebron's net numbers are in the negative in every line up this year. The teams numbers without him have been net positive. He's putting up empty stats and his defense is atrocious. The Lakers would be flat out better without Lebron. Everyone gets something out of this. I don't think that this realistically makes the Warriors better, but if Steph and Lebron want to ride off into the sunset together, and convince management to do the deal, Washington would be a good 3rd party to facilitate. I didn't think that ESPN was onto anything with the Lerbon to the Warriors talk, until Lebron took personal time.

      @BBallRambling 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Davivd2 Wow. Thanks for sharing your ideas. I agree that that deal makes a lot of sense. The Lakers moving LeBron would absolutely shock the NBA landscape. Honestly, the reason I think the deal doesn’t happen is because the Lakers owners care more about names than they do on-court fit. I agree that the sum of those players alongside AD would equal a better team, but then they lose the King himself. I think they would rather lose with him. As stupid as that sounds. But him stepping away for personal reasons is certainly weird. What will happen to Bronny if LeBron leaves? So many ifs.

    • @Davivd2
      @Davivd2 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@BBallRambling No I think that you are right about the ownership. Lebron, and even Bronny, put butts in the seats. I've been a Lakers fan since 91 and I can tell you, when the Lakers are not competing, or with a star on their roster, they are not selling out their arena. It's not like Portland or Sacramento where the fans are there through thick and thin.

  • @Davivd2
    @Davivd2 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

    I like the Charlotte trade. I think that one makes the most sense. It's so hard to find a trade for this guy. He had the opportunity to prove he was the hype after the Phoenix trade and it never happened. I don't like the Lakers trade. I'm a Laker fan and The Lakers need to keep D Lo because they don't have any other true PG's on the roster. Gabe Vincent is having a historically terrible season. As flawed as D Lo is, in games where Lebron doesn't play, and he's the lead playmaker, he balls out. He had 28 points and 14 dimes in the last game without Lebron.

    An NBA team in Louisville could be stopped by two factors, the University of Louisville and the Indiana Pacers. The Louisville Cardinals holds first priority for events at the KFC Yum Center, and Freedom Hall would essentially need a total rebuild to be viable for an NBA team, and the state of Kentucky (who owns Freedom Hall and the Kentucky State Fair site) is unlikely to drop three-quarters of a billion dollars at minimum to do so. Indianapolis is only a two hours drive from Louisville, and the Pacers could potentially veto a possible Louisville NBA team.

    The story is interesting but his decisions early on & after high school are questionable. To really improve your game it is necessary to compete against players who are better than you. You’re only as good as the people you play with or against. I have always believed that. Identifying your weakness or weakness is essential & I wonder if the coaches could have done more for him in this part of the game.

    Also. I am so sorry that you had to watch the Wizards play to grade their rookies. That had to be painful. The NBA needs to forget about an expansion draft and have a contraction draft. Send the Wizards to the G league where they belong and let the rest of the league have a draft off of their roster with cap exemptions on their contracts.

    I'll throw Ajay Mitchell the second round pick of the Thunder in as an honorable mention. I've seen him play twice and he's lightning in a bottle on the court. His hustle and energy are top tier. That kind of heart and effort will make this guy a valuable role player for years to come. I'm also stoked to see Zach Edey have some success and the Bulls pick looked really good in these highlights. He needs to get some playing time. He's my prediction for most improved player if he becomes a starter next year. Dunking, shooting, defending. I know those were just highlights and his overall game has some lumps, but when he starts to click....it's going to be fun to watch.
