I feel as though it is a mixture of both everyone is expected to be able to shoot and dribble regardless of size plus more people are playing the game than ever before, therefore the talent is getting better. But also, I do feel as though the officiating is a bit offensively biased which is promoting more fouls being called and higher scoring in general.
@@BBallRambling it is a multi factor phenomenon for sure. I'm just a big fan of good defence basketball, and I didn't particularly like the overly physical game back in the 80s and early 90s, it over showed actual good defence. Now we swing too far to the other side. I guess its all objective in the end

Is basketball getting beter and better, or is it just where the game is pushed to, allowing for more people to put up stats?
