We're you looking at salaries before you made this video? I didn't check every deal but the contracts seem off. Lavine makes 43 million next year and you are 10 million short on the Toronto trade. I don't think that Lavine is really an over pay any longer,considering the latest contracts are going into 60 million territory. Lavine is a solid pickup if he stays healthy. The real problem is the Bulls. Trading Lavine makes too much sense, and sensible and the Bulls broke up and are in full ghost mode.
From what I understand, if a team is under a certain dollar amount in salary they can take in more money than they give in a trade. I used some website to sim the trades to see if they worked and each one did. If they aren’t exactly right, then oh well. And I agree. Lavine is a very good player. But there aren’t a lot of situations that make sense right now.
