@ I believe that’s what they replaced it with. Although even though it’s carbed it’s decent! I really wished they kept the water cooled efi system though. While it’s not the same manufacturer etc it’s what they replaced that venom GTO with.

@@nylenolan2027 literally just a dirt bike. You have the option to register it in some states to be road worthy but as long as you’re not riding out on the public roadways.

@@hazeyknight4206 mine was totally fine. I will say a pinch in the throttle cable(s) can cause this. I would just adjust the throttle cable(s) and possibly re route them. I’ve seen sometimes the turning of the handle bars pinches the cables and can be an issue even a simple fix as adjusting the grip so it doesn’t stick. Can also check the screw on the clear cover of your throttle over tightening can cause it to stick also or cause throttle issues

@@darkowlmoto hey, late update but my buddy's father worked on the bike and fixed it. There were actually a couple things off about it but he got it fixed. Runs pretty good.

@@harrycash8713 you should be good! These bikes are fairly tall and can be adjusted a little bit as well. However I think the seat may be slightly uncomfortable but that’s just me.

@@riderschoice24 it is fairly normal. Remember these are air cooled too. You can always run your bike a little richer with a better carb. This can help big time as well. But yes these bikes all run pretty hot.

@@untraumatized this just simply sounds like adjusting the cable itself rather than the plate. Even though it’s a Chinese bike it shouldn’t lurch forward.

I bought mine off of amazing for under $20 get the adjustable ones

Unfortunately no. These mirrors are so old the exact link I don’t have. I recommend just looking up universal motorcycle mirrors on Amazon as well.

Depends on what you’re looking to get out of your bike! I honestly think the xpro Templar x 250 would be better as it has 6 speeds instead of 5

No issues at all with the rims! Been almost a year haven’t had any issues.

You can literally add any of these features to any bike. However it’s up to your state and what it deems street legal. Making it street legal with these upgrades doesn’t mean the state will deem it road worthy. Especially if the title says “off road”.

@darkowlmoto thanks for the information I really appreciate it, I live in Georgia and I know that I can register it as long as it has turn signals, headlight and Horn possibly close to gauge as well but my question was I wanted to buy the parts from a DLX to put it on minds, my bike is the same as the DLX the only difference is that the DLX has the turn signals cluster gauge hand brake light but what I have to change the entire wire harness or I don't know

@ you may have to add more for the brake light etc. if you can get the wiring harness and a turn signal relay i would do that route

It is a clone of a Honda. Venom motorsports puts their logo on these. It’s a jonway 250

Correct it is a venom motorsports bike however they aren’t venoms per se. It is a Chinese bike made by Jonway and venom used to sell these and purchase them with their branding.

I don’t believe these bikes have a catalytic converter. The large portion of the exhaust on the side is a baffled chamber to help with toning down or dampening the sound. Only emissions like system is the charcoal canister evap style system on these. Which isn’t much.

70mph top speed give or take. However xpro sells the Templar X which is a 6 speed I think I may purchase to review.

Unfortunately no they don’t sell it anymore and it was CLAIMED to be tuned like a 350 which was laughable. They do have updated models which are similar it is the Venom Z250

@darkowlmoto yeah no I saw that there's a couple I want that reviews have been not bad for cheap bikes. The lifan kpm 200 is solid. The z250 looks good. That KPR 200 i heard is very solid. Just alot of there bikes are carburated I prefer fuel injection. And the ones that are efi either a 200 or 250 I wish they'd do 300s or a 350 just use the cbr 300 engine. I asked is it harder to ship a bigger cc bike or something. Most their bikes either venom or the lifan company would hugely benefit from being a 300 or 350 even a 400 instead. People starting to swap them too

@ no its not harder to ship it just seems like most Chinese bikes cap out at that specific cc to be sold on the internet directly to your door. The only other Chinese brand i know of is CFMOTO but they make bigger cc bikes and are more mainstream solid bikes from large dealers.

@darkowlmoto yeah ive seen cf moto. Alot of these bikes are solid they just need a bit more power and torque especially down low. The lifan kpm 200 is a solid sexy bike. People love it and ride it everyday everywhere. But it could use more power and torque. And itd be that much better. I mean some are swapping them especially that lifan 150 mini rs bike someone put a cbr 300 in one and ive seen a like 650 engine in it. So that's fun the creativity and such. Only way the 200 or 250 works is weight if its very light it can work and be fun. But the price also needs to reflect it. Alot are 2500 and more. On Craigslist u can find sure an older bike but a 650 or more for that price a 1200 Harley sportster like early 2000s for 4k. So I think the price needs to be much lower in my opinion

I’m sure you could but at that point these frames aren’t amazing by any means and you’d probably would want to start from scratch or find something that could handle that power and torque.

I've seen on the power sportsman site they offered assembly for a fee. But it's not that hard and you get familiar with it

Yup I replaced it with a better one after I bought it. I’ve had so many of these Chinese bikes and all of them have issues with the springs vibrating off.

I’m sure there definitely is a way. It’s all how you wire it up. It would probably be better to just have them both always on to remain visible considering you can adjust the beam height
