Tai Chi Whole-Body Workout

Sample two movements - "Wave Hands Like Clouds" and "Parting the Wild Horse's Mane." Make Tai Chi your own. Play low and slow for your legs and core. At a quicker tempo for an aerobic workout. With weights for great arms and shoulders. Or play gently as moving meditation.

Best practiced with a staff that is a little longer than your outstretched arms. (Not hiking poles.) Movements are relaxed and smooth. Eventually! Personal instruction would be ideal, as there are details and helpful hints to share. More than those which are included in this brief sample.

Recorded live via Zoom, this "Bird Wings" Qigong awakens and activates the Three Treasures - Earth Qi, Heaven Qi and Human Qi - and the Central Meridian, the energy channel that integrates our three primary energy centers and connects us to Earth Qi below and Heaven Qi above. Earth Qi is grounding, motherly and productive energy. (I mistakenly said it is associated with purpose.) Heaven Qi is e...

"Bird Wings" Three Treasures Qigong is a form of moving meditation. A Yin/receptive practice, when played in sync with your breath, it can awaken and activate your three Dantians (energy centers) and the Central Meridian, which integrates them and connects you to Heaven and Earth Qi. Contact nancyg@ngenergy.us if you'd like specific instruction.

This is a simplified version of the first half of the form, played without bringing the foot in for a closed Cat Stance and without lifting the leg where we typically would. Enjoy! Note: Keep your fingers closer together than mine are. Not tight. I'd been playing a lot of "Bird Wings Three Treasures" where my fingers are like birds' feathers!

Thank you for choosing me like this because there is your channel in the videos listed on my TH-cam. In difficult times like these days, your channel is steadily growing, so that your dreams come true and share the joy. Work even harder and be strong. Fighting! A TH-camr will always have to work hard to be loved by his subscribers. I think in my own way that each and every work in the channel that I do in my life on TH-cam is to be loved a little more by the subscribers who support me. I am so happy that you enjoyed it. Oh, I really like it.
