Variations of The Split Squat: Leg strength and stability!
In this video we go through loads of variations of split squats that you can do, to help with leg strength and stability. The benefit of single leg work is you can work on balancing strength out between the legs, so when doing other lifts like squats, less likely to be compensating. The other benefit is working stability and balance of the legs and how you hold the weight then adjust how much the trunk muscles get involved as well, to help with strengthening them.

Great video, thankyou! I've had an ac injury for probably 8 years. In general life i wouldn't even know i have it. Only an issue when i go too the gym and do push work. Noting the injury is so old, would these exercises still help? I'm not really clear on functionally what they do that helps the AC joint? Thankyou!

I have wrist pain... I can't type nd write ...i feel the pain in my fingers except pinky finger nd pain extends till my elblow then shoulder nd neck ...i have trouble holding things for so long ... even veins pop out when the pain comes....is this carple tunnel syndrome symptoms or not pls answer
So hi all tennis elbow fellow. I got mine for 2 weeks. I still don t know how did i get it. My guess is while sleeping. I pressed my forearm down while sleeping on stomach.
I have pain only during scarf test what does it mean
The best ex. ever ( for me ) is go lay down on your belly. Grab 1kg weights/dumbbells. Spread your hands to the sides, and lift them off the ground while holding the weights. Now do the same thing but adduct your arms closer to your body and do the same thing. You may even feel a loud pop/crack while doing it and it really gives a nice relief.
How soon after a grade 1 acj injury can I start these exercises? Thanks
Fantastic. A good answer for those who preach about losing fat in the midsection in a month, getting big biceps, triceps etc, etc. You have to experience everything by yourself and make the necessary adjustments by yourself. Very true. Thank you.

Hello, I’m afraid I have cubital tunnel syndrome for a fall I had almost 3 years ago now. They put me on a long cast up to my bicep for a scaphoid fracture. I have complete loss of sensation in part of my elbow, is this something that can heal naturally through PT?

Thank you for the info. I had a grade 2 and to this day if I stretch or sleep the wrong way, it feels like the gap gets bigger which causes some pain but I will try these exercises!
I’m almost 3 months from my grade 2 ac injury. It’s still sore to raise my arm above my head and if I move my arm a lot (everyday tasks around the house), my shoulder gets sore. I can’t sleep on my right side either. How long did it take for you to recover? Can you sleep on that side? Im a side sleeper and it’s driving me crazy that I can’t sleep on that side.

Please stop using “SHT“ to make the sound of ST. This is a new phenomenon within the last 10 years wherein people are starting to say “SHT” when the word starts with ST. Michelle Obama was the first person to really start using this linguistical alternative to proper English. For instance, people say “ SHTRENGTH“ instead of “strength“. This seems to be most prevalent in American English, and in other cultures, countries or cities… And… it is improper.

Use your legs not your back has never been based on the real world. Coming from a manual work background you have to lift all manner of shapes and sizes of different weights, companies even send you on Manual Handling Courses that tell you to left with your legs not with your back and to keep your arms straight when carrying. It's all absolute tripe! What you are told to do only makes lifting and carrying more difficult.
What happened if we move hand to backwards and feel shoulder pain?

Okay so i dont necessary feel the pain too much like its little bit but whats annoying me is the snapping sound, like i feel the snapping in the area that is marked on the video, so does it mean i have tennis elbow? does the tennis elbow come with the snapping sound?
No won’t be tennis elbow, could be snapping tricep syndrome, best to get it checked out!
I had just been diagnosed to have frozen shoulder in clinic setting. Next test is the MRI scan. I have all these pain symptoms but interestingly all the pains I have is not anywhere near the shoulder area but around the upper arm region and sometimes even the forearm. Why???

Instead of doing it on a flat bench you can incline it to get full range of motion, but still no weight so it would only be useful for brand new lifters or someone recovering from a back injury.
And 2 of them didnt even have the spine decompression part so what benefit would you get at all?

Irritating music
If you want to take all chest out of a press and put all the emphasis on the front delt, this is a solid way to go about it. Triceps get used in normal pressing, if triceps emphasis is important then why not french press, skull crusher or tricep pullovers
By all means add other exercises for the triceps this is just an option, the benefit is you can get a lot of load with this one compared to others, just try it, you’ll feel it!

I was wondering, as time goes on and our AC joint gets stronger, can we increase the ROM of our rows by rowing further back and of the adduction by starting in a higher position?
I just had a nerve conduction test. I have serve carpool tunnel in my right hand. I lost sensation in my finger tips and I have muscle atrophy at the base of my thumb. I also have a trigger finger that did not respond to a steroid injection. My ulner nerve is also compressed. I am having all 3 surgeries done next month. I hope my nerve can heal and reverse my loss of sensation in my finger tips but time will only tell. At least it won't get worse. I manage a restaurant and I picked up something that was really hot and couldn't feel it burning me. I have trouble holding things and thought my arthritis was causing my poor dexterity. So I ignored the symptoms. Boy was I wrong.

Doctor can you tell me if CTS grade 3 treats without surgery by these exercises or not?I don't have pain I only have numbness in my wrist area.
