This Apartment Rental Scammer is Sneaky! | Scams in Germany
I recently talked to an apartment rental scammer and tried to trace him, but he was too smart for me! These types of scams in Germany STILL seem to be quite common here, so don't get scammed when you're simply looking to rent. Avoid this when moving to Germany and don't lose your hard-earned cash.

My Apartment in Berlin Germany | What's Typical Renting in Berlin?
มุมมอง 147K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Hi peeps! Welcome to my new Berlin apartment in Germany! I wanted to avoid talking about the smaller details like the style and furniture of the apartment like some videos do and focus more on what apartments generally look and feel like in Germany. Of course, this one's been renovated, but here's a video of what you'll probably get renting in Berlin at around €1000 per month. Whether you're lo...

How to use Public Transport in BERLIN, GERMANY
มุมมอง 141K4 ปีที่แล้ว
When you come to visit Berlin as a tourist (and even in Germany), you don't really have to stress about how to travel from one place to another. The city's public transportation system is second to none and extremely affordable. This video is a guide to show you the most important things you need to know regarding the use of all modes of public transport throughout the city. You'll be a local a...
Mr.Lodge and Wunderflats are organized robberies of foreigners, but then you send them a lawayer 😂
Very helpful. Thank you. Quick question. Let's say you buy the ABC zone ticket (4.40) at the airport and take the FEX train into Berlin Central Station. If you then need to jump on a tram for a few stops, does the same ticket still cover you (assuming it's still within the 2 hours from when you validated it)?
Thanks mate. Yes, it would still cover you as it is all within one journey within that timeframe.
Luxury apartement... ❤❤❤
Perfect Airbnb, but i couldn't live there. On ground floor more appropriate as unit for disabled person.
What an amazing informative video!! Can you let me know if I am at airport and want to go to alexander platz should I but A, B zone ticket and extension one . I wont need zone C later. Thanks a million
That's exactly right, thank you!
greg here. I like your tone and balance. as well I appreciate your concern for sustainable life. watching from indiana....3 hrs south of chicago. ive shopped in Lidl in Milan (flight crew), so familiar with that one.
Thank you❤️
Thank you so much for the video. Also i just did not get about daily ticket. Do I need to stamp it every time when I am going to use the public transport?
My pleasure. For dailies I don't believe you need to do that
Excellent man , i should seen this before coming to berlin faced a lot of dificulties last week while i landed alone in berlin 😂
That was super helpful, thanks
Don't know if anyone is looking at the comments still. Am heading to Berlin for the first time on Tuesday. What wasn't wholly clear is: if you do get a pass for travel within, say, a week, do you have to validate it just once or before every journey?
This apartment was only vacant at the time because there was a 🚨huge construction site right next to the house for another house that was being built right in front of your window and the damage in the wall between the bathroom and the kitchen, which could have something to do with the water pipes⛑️, I wouldn't ignore🕶️ it. The house is located directly on a multi-lane main road🛣️. and the ceiling height and doors are for dwarves. furthermore, nothing was said about the tenants wall to wall and directly above or below. They all have exactly the same number of 🔌. think about what a bargain that is to live to study 🧑🎓
Imagine going to Berlin, meeting this presenter, and falling in love
I loooove your video! So much useful and fun! quick and easy! Great!!!
Super helpful info
I am going to Berlin for a school trip in a month, so this really helped me out, thank you
2024 update for everone watching this: - the airport Berlin-Schönefeld (SXF) doesn't exist any longer, it has been integrated into the BER airport as Terminal 5, which currently is not in use - please pay attention to the point about entering a vehicle and let the exiting people out first. there is already enough pepople ( not that many, but enough to notice at least) who try to almost tackle their way in as soon as the doors open, which is fairly annoying - showing the ticket to the bus driver is not mandatory any longer, so as long as you have a valid ticket, just hop on - if a bus or a tram is really crowded so getting to any but the front door seems like a hustle, it is usually okay to exit via the front door besides that; man, that was probably the best video about our public transportation system i've ever watched. really well done. i am really happy the city grew on you so much. have a good one :>
Thank you so much 🙏 I appreciate this.
What are the lengths of time for the tickets offered?
Fantastic video dude, great links too.
Du hast ne schöne Wohnung, aber ich finde 1000€ ist nicht fair.
I've never been to Germany and particularly Berlin, so much history there, I'm definitely going to take a 3 to 4 day trip there, so looking forward to it
I wish i had come ac ross this when I arrived. And you are tight, I love Berlin.
Perfect for a nationalist Turk
Thank you for info. Im planning to stay 3 full day. Could i buy 3-4 day ticket? If so where can i buy on mobile app? I only see 24 hours ticket
I can't believe how complex this ticket system is. In Sydney we simply tap on and off with a credit card. You don't need to worry about the distance or fare as it's automatically calculated.
I encountered a similar scam today. I did share my passport details for the contract, but didn't pay the amount cause i suspected a scam. What can they do using my passport details 😕?
DB for commuter rail BVG for tram, bus and subway
Cool
It’s also the fact that if everyone buys the good looking products, even if we rotate our stock, the crappier looking ones will go bad because no one buys them, then we have to take them off
You’re telling me there’s more shops than just Woolies and Cole’s!?! 😂
I am getting same kind of emails right now
I would lose my mind in that little boring town. I’m from a big city in the States.
Although the architecture is different it reminds me of small towns in the US. Very quiet in the middle of the day
The bathroom has a window ❤
I hate studio apartments because the bathroom always has no window at all. No natural light or air circulation at all. I am renting one and I hate my windowless bathroom.
With the welcome ticket and other multi day tickets you only validate them once, correct?
Can someone explain to me what the difference is between S-bahn and tram? because I always thought they were the same...
Trams are on the streets/roads. S-Bahn is a train on a train track.
@@ExpatCaptures thank you!
Sehr gut ...danke....really good.. watching from Uganda... please make a video about buying beddings
From California Your work in fighting scams is invaluable. I was scammed twice last year, totaling losses over $120,000. It was a lengthy process involving federal intervention to get her money back. We need more people like *Prophecy Trace* taking a stand against these criminals. Much love and support from California.
Berlin got an airport? 😊😮
Neukölln ❤
Very good apt👍Thank you so much for showing this. My nephew and I plan to be in Hamburg for his music studies at HfMT and will appreciate looking over apts such as this 1bedroom and a good location too.. GOD bless you👑🙏🔥
I'm coming to Berlin from the airport, I saw that the ABC ticket is extended to the airport. Is it worthy tu buy it or only AB ticket with airport-city center round trip apart? Thanks
How about an update video after three years? It changed quite a lot I think.(or maybe not so much??)
This was the first Berlin transit video I watched, and I can't imagine how it could be any better! Thanks for saving me a lot of research!
🎉if u comE to Ottawa Ontario Canada, please find me $450 small apt need rape to stop
The reason why the S Bahn is underground because it couldN#t be built above. (Nordbahnhof to Anhalter Bahnhof)
Except using subway I love your English.
Good explanation of using the tickets. I recommend tourist which arrive from BER and stay for couples of days AB ticket wih an extention fare. I've been working in customer service for the Berliner S Bahn since January 2024.
can I ask you a question? From BER to city center, will use S bahn twice in the city. what ticket you reccommend?
@@BerivanCakan-z1i It depends what you would like to do in Berlin If you need only a ticket from the airport to the city centre than a ABC single ticket is ok. So I don't know your plans.
the bit about the extension fare is "news" to me and very helpful
Great detailed sharing! thank you for your dedication 😍I also saw a discount on trainpal for buying EU train tickets on another channel, anyone who needs it can contact me for the code😃
