Paul toff accent is better that Harry's even though Harry went to public school and Paul had a very working class upbringing. He really is a superb actor.
boys my boyfriend's dad is a surgeon and he's invited me over for christmas with his dad's colleagues. literally watching this in order to prepare myself. it could go pearshaped rapidly if they realise I'm state educated. better brush up on my Mandarin
30 plus years on, and I still have to wipe the tears from my eyes from laughing,...My god the world was a funnier place when we were younger. Thank you for the Fast Show, best comedy show ever!
I remember watching these as a kid and Rowley Birkin not being one of my favourites, but as an adult I find him to be probably the best character in the show, where you get to see what a great actor Paul Whitehouse is. I think he is one of the most under rated character actors of all time, up there with Daniel Day Lewis for the way he is able to get into character and steal the screen, I'm watching Ghost Stories on BBC atm and he's very good in that although I think he did some of his finest acting as Rowley
First time seeing this. Absolutely brilliant from Harry and Paul. Would love to know what real-life surgeons think about this sketch. Comments please from all you medical professionals!
The Wuintesencial English Raconteur. I'm afraid I am...very...very..drunk. She arched her back and scuttled across the floor like a giant spider. My favourite line. When you get older, flashes of memory happens. ❤
I miss this show SO badly! Absolute class, seriously the beat British comedy ever ❤️ (My favourite are the Pathe ‘Women, know your limits!’ sketches.. literally my life working with men for 30 years!!🤣
Just got my new NHS hearing aids amazing ! Chips batteries must be low

The anticipation of unlucky alf then he falls down the hole anyway, has me laughing so much lol 🤣🤣🤣👌
If it ain't Dutch... It ain't much.
Hell on earth
Neither Alec Guinness nor Peter Sellers at their best could compare with Paul Whitehouse as Sheridan. The man is a genius.
Oh my God! I've been a hospital porter for 50 years and this is exactly how ALL Surgeons are! It's just incredible!
If sir patrick moore lost some timber and took up the tools!
He’d never get chosen to be a Manchurian candidate!
"....Snake! Snake!...GIN!!!"

Can anyone tell me if that’s an actual regional accent when they say things like “cyalifornians” and “mind the styep” ?
Hyome cyounties, I’d say.

Spot on . Father was NHS consultant for 40 years - and yes, he did buy me a flat!
Was frightfully expensive?

I held her in my arms , I’m afraid I was very drunk. Stunning.
It's my bucket list. To go on all of Rowleys journeys.
Sheridan is Patrick Moore on speed.
😂😂😂
I think the Paul Whitehouse character was based on the proctologist who banded my dad’s piles 40 years ago 🤣🤣
