what a beautiful restoration - that blue colour really stands out. But those fantasy cars whether it be MBX or HW never really caught my attention in fact I always disliked them. Also as I kid. I was and still am into realistic diecast cars you can see on the road. But nevertheless a great restoration
Thanks! I must admit that they are not my absolute favourites either and indeed, opinions differ on these models, even among collectors. But they are part of the Matchbox legacy and history. I'm also not a big Hotwheels fan, but especially in the late 60's and early 70's they had some interesting and well-made castings. This said, I will be doing an older Hotwheels in two weeks. 🙂
