There were 3 different cars used in the 55 effort,a Fairlane,this,and a Mercury.Not uncommon on some American police cars,red was used originally, switched to blue later.A class resto, Johan,top marks.

Thanks, Terry! Yes, indeed. I did the Mercury back in May and this is the second Galaxie. Still have the Fairlane (both police and fire chief livery) in my 'to do' box. These will definitely be featured next year.

Great restoration and fine result even with the new slightly to thick windows. The rear bumper seems to be a little bend upwarts on the passenger side. Watching from behind it looks that the car is leaning..

Looks very good but I think you should of painted the tail lights red and paint some of the interior. A black steering wheel and maybe the seats.

Thanks! It is a 'restoration', so I wanted to stay as close to the factory detailing as possible. I might do a custom of one of those in the future.
