I got my first TT685ii recently. Comparing with my SB800, the color temps are very close. TT685ii is about 2 stops more powerful. A bit of disappointment is that the TT685ii is about 2/3 under exposed consistently in TTL mode compared with my SB800. Dial up the FEC to +0.7 will correct the flash exposure. Did you experience under exposed image in TTL with the Godox flash?

Quick question: I have the xPro Trigger and the TT-685SII, but I want to set the flash to slave mode. How do I do that? I can't seem to switch the mode from Rx to slave on the flash. Any ideas? Thank you

I think ur flashes are busted. It hardly takes 1-3 seconds for the 685 to fully recycle.

i'm totally ignorant with flashes. do you need to have a receiver in between this and the camera to make it flash whilst photographing. I can't figure it out

When the flashgun is mounted on a Panasonic camera's hotshoe and just used as on-camera flash, what mode is the camera set to? I can only get my 685 to fire when the camera is set to C1/C2/C3, there is no synch with any other mode although there is connectivity as the aperture displayed on the gun's display changes when you change it on the camera.

Having owned both the tokina and Nikkor , (sold the Nikkor) , I can honest;y say the tokina is a fantastic lens, all metal build with exception of outer pieces , and is far better than the build quality and optics over the Nikkor 105mm micro Vr , and also their is less to go wrong on the tokina , the af is slower than the Nikkor admittedly , although for macro this is not a problem.

Great video! Is the exact same power cable used to go from the external pack to each flash? Or does each flash have a different external power connection port thereby requiring a different connector at the end of the cable?

nikon costs more because it was the one who actually did Research and development meanwhile chinese Godox copied the the material blueprint and made something better for cheap as always due to their industrial might. Research and Dev is always expensive as you are coming up with something from scratch meanwhile duplicating a thing is a whole another story. BTW I have a Godox ttl685N with a nikon d500 and xpro trigger
