If the person’s schedule ahead of you and when I get there later they tell me where I need to be (even though I see it on my calendar) with a loud annoying voice. I tried to tell them I seen it or any changes to write it down, but the person took it personally.

at my job, we’re able to get paid out of our paycheck early if we need some of our money early. Well my co worker, (who is also my aunt) recently took $20 out of my paycheck without my permission, and even though she gave it back to me, I don’t appreciate the fact she took out of my paycheck and not her own, and didn’t even think to ask me. I also missed a day of work and it happened to be on payday, when I went into work the next day to go get my check, turns out my co worker had my paycheck, she also held onto that without my permission. She takes advantage of me just because I am family and I’m too scared to speak up, but I’ve had enough of this. I can easily get her fired bc she steals tips, she steals out of the register, she’s stolen out of my bosses purse!!! I don’t know how she still has a job and I don’t know why I still stay, but it’s to the point she is over stepping and crossing too many lines. I am tired of protecting her, she’s not family to me anymore. I’m sick of it and hate my job but can’t get another one right now.

What if your coworker continuously stole from you, was caught in lies and turned your team against you playing victim. Geesh I’m too old but my families income has been impacted. My manager does nothing and we don’t really have HR (they contract out) and I’m seriously so upset and want to get back at this woman so need advice. I have been dealing with a colleague lately, who I’m finding rude and condescending, she’s got a way with her words and how she speaks. She’s a senior but she’s certainly not my line manager or my senior. I’m killing her with being polite but I can see she’s ignoring my teams messages when it’s work related. I can’t even hang with her when she’s like that. We even would go to the train Stn together. It’s too much for me now. She’s not my friend but she’s been a support when I’ve needed it. But I feel like she’s really taking the ‘senior’ thing to her head. She was like this before she was senior but now she’s worse. I got my eyebrows tattooed recently something I’ve been wanting to do for awhile, she noticed and commented on them, but then she’s saying ‘oh you can afford to get your eyebrows done but you can’t afford screens for my laptop at home’ I’m like whattt, I’m a contractor first of all, I’m not made of money, so why do I have to spend my own money to get IT equipment? That doesn’t make sense and I barely have enough desk space. I’m just so lost and starting to feel really isolated now and really crappy. I need to get another job and something more challenging and have had no luck at all. 😢

My co worker mangered to put the company 80,000 in the hole and when I was asked to fix the problem she got upset and went to HR without asking our upper manager why? Very few things happens without variables at could have been corrected. She got emotional with HR and got her way.

I've tried all of those methods. My issue is that I 'm neurodivergent. I don't always know when I 'm being set up and I wind up on the outside looking in. Most of the time it's the manger is toxic. I always wished I had a body cam because I had no proof.

I hear this a ton, but I have never known anyone who has successfully negotiated a job offer. I personally have never negotiated a job offer. I give a number as soon as a recruiter contacts me, and that is the only thing I have seen work. (shrug)

HR is not your friend. Tread carefully. Even when you have all the receipts, the moment you take something like this to HR they start to build a case to protect the company. This is especially true if you're trying to make a case against toxic leadership. Companies often protect leadership otherwise it looks bad on them for putting someone like this in charge.

If your boss is toxic and a jerk and your organization has a Union call your business representative of your union, the more calls made to your union rep about the harrassments made to you by a toxic boss, will eventually get the toxic boss fired even HR will get tired of the calls coming in for the toxic boss.
