Good video......but you chose the easier side to do. The driver side has that one bolt that can be a challenge to remove.

I want to undo the keyless entry as it never works well it locks when you walk around for groceries it doesnt lock when it needs to, now it has decided to not open in any case. My new Mazda 3 is most terribly annoying car I have ever had I am starting to seriously hate it nothing seems to work as intended and the lane assist the beeping I hope everyday I wake up to find it burnt down. Had a 2 which was a great car, I supposed the 3 would be better. No! Now I hoped my key fob was in this mode but it is not. And I am sick of constantly having to put hours into investigating this sort of stuff. Just like the audio, car comes with equalizer set flat. Rain sensor wipers are crap I could go on and on.

I have a 2024 cx5 and I just got a letter from mazda stating I do infact have this coolant valve in my mazda cx5. They will replace it under extended warranty up to 150,000 miles or 15 years!

Mine is 2024 Cx 90 I did popped the fuse panel at the driver side but I look for PLG on the panel. There’s no PLG just numbers.

Ive gone ahead and purchased the thermostat and plastic housing parts89$....ive changed the parts...i still have the same issue🤷‍♂️ I am a very good mechanic...father was a stock car racer...uncle was AA dragster driver...i know what im doing. Ive called mazda Canada and have been advised that a letter will be sent out to me soon. Ive heard its the thermostat stuck open so i went ahead and stuck the old thermostat into water @105C...the thermostat opened at exactly 105C which is stamped on the old thermostat. I still do not have hot heat....i have one heater hose (upper) hot or warm and the lower hose is cool 🤷‍♂️ AND...NO CODES

Thanks, same problem and beeping noise but fuse wasn't blown. However, i followed your steps after putting same fuse back in and it now works fine.

I have a 2016 Mazda CX9, it was the fuse too. Extra fuse was in the engine compartment, swapped and it solved the issue. Thank you for this video! 🙌

You forgot to remove the magnet from old pan to install in new one....

I still didn’t understand what you were saying or what the battery safe mode is. You jumped back into talking about the red dot and then advanced keyless entry and I think I got confused. Simply put the battery safe mode means you cannot unlock your car in battery safe mode, correct?Thanks.

Thanks, very helpful, we had ghost touch on ours as well as someone used the wrong chemicals to clean the display, I ended up just replacing the display screen and none of the electronics, it can all be done in the car with only 6 electrical connections, I did not remove the cmu atall, just had to carry over the screen circuit card to the new display, pnp is great, if anyone doesn't have apple cp or android auto, those are easy too :)

Mazda gives you a free fix replacement and extended 15 year warranty. I just got the letter in the mail today. However my 2024 does not have this potential problem. Or it at least has the new ''ZA " new FIXED PART number

So now that we know the entire coolant control valve does not need to be changed....and only a kit that mazda sells which includes thermostat,and a bunch of plastic parts like thermostat housing etc.....what i want to know is ....what exact part is failing?

They take the time to do thus dumb sh*t, and cant put a remote start button on here. They make ya pay for a simple function. I won't buy another. There is so much ignorance.

A whole new complete oem mazda fuel pump assembly is 260 dollars. I would just buy that of i had to do it myself.

Not sure if you still check your comments. Out of curiosity, is it possible to add oem 360 camera to lower trim levels ? Do you know if harbests are there and if not is it possible to do it ?

I have a 2011 CX7 with 142k miles and just got the code P0126. Guess the cooling valve could be the issue. Would you suggest replacing that part and also the thermostat at the same time ? Look forward to hearing back and thx again for detailed explanation 👍

i have a 2024 and got a warranty extension latter to 15 years/150,000 regarding to this. So 2024 still have these.
