I don’t think “I’m sorry” makes me feel better - this is a man who ruined this team, still manages to keep his job and high salary (if Shapiro was not there looking out for his best bud, I am sure he would have been gone 2 months ago)! Next year is shaping up to be just as bad so, I for one am not renewing my tickets until this mgmt is gone and new people (from outside the Jays organization) are brought in to turn it around. Obviously these 2 cannot.

I randomly found your channel and thought your overview and perspective was great. I'm glad the Jays decided to move these guys and recognize they were not the path forward. I'm probably in the vast minority, but I still have confidence in Shapiro/Atkins based on their track record and I would give them another shot of it were up to me. I thought their methods were solid in Cleveland, it takes time to change an organization.

Atkins should be let go at the end of the season. He's not 100% responsible for the teams lack of success, but he should be held accountable for the Bluejays finishing last in the division.

Kevin Kiermaier is one of the greatest Defensive Center Fielders of All Time let alone being a Toronto Blue Jay. (I thought I'd add that in there). (He's 2nd All time behind Andrew Jones, in Defensive WAR).

Astros have the 2nd best record in baseball since June 1. Their window is just about closed. They are not thinking about next year, they know that the team will be in the wilderness for 3 or more years as they rebuild but they have a shot to go deep and their management is bold. The trade makes sense for both sides. .

Turner is clutch,the jays sucked for much of the year. Trading the rest of the season and filling the farm with 2nd raters. The gms couldnt find pitchers last year what makes you believe they can do the job next year.

I can appreciate something different, but this wasn't different-it was downright blasphemous and trite. The athletes were lucky to be given a boat so they didn't have to sit through all that drivel. And then came the torch lighting, the single most important moment in ANY Olympic event. Barcelona and Beijing made these guys look like children in kindergarten shooting a balloon in the air. What was that? TOTAL GARBAGE. It took FOREVER..Rafa and the US athletes Carl, Serena et al, WERE NOT NEEDED. They were superfluous props. They are Americans so why have them in a FRENCH package? They then forced Anthopolous to leave which in my opinion may be the best Jays’ General Managers in their history. If the Jays want to return to the winning seasons Atkins has to go.

It was a challenge for her to sing in French and she must have rehearsed a lot for it but she is a talented artist so I think she gave a great performance.
