This is great! Thank you so much. How are you changing the colors of certain words only though (like in this video)? Trying to change the color within the "Title" portion of the Edit page changes everything for that one "caption"

(I THINK ) You need to make custom templates to get the ultra cool results as per your video. You kind of make it seem like the program will auto select a cool font (in retrospect of course you have to choose your font style BEFORE creating the animated text. 5.All the best for 2025

Thanks for this video. When you are done with a project and move it to cold storage, do you export the project? Or, do you move the project folder from SSD to cold storage? If that’s the case, do you leave it in the project database and relink the final folder destination? Or do you do something else?

Can you cover how to export the resulting subtitles so that they have transparent background? I have a situation where I've exported them with Alpha channel turned on but the underlying video is only visible when there is a subtitle on the screen. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Hey Orson, the auto caps doesn't work. It keeps the titles at the original casing. I can't find any toggle in Text+ editor to make the change. I'm using latest version of Resolve Mac

please please please Orson help me, i have been struggling for hours trying to drag lua files into davinci, i tried console, media storage, timelines and fusion, but none work.

Free Resolve 19 doesn't allow it anymore!

When I drag the Lua into davinci resolve script, it's asking to me to buy the studio version to be able to install it, even tried the path copy Lua for manual install and it still did the same pop up of asking me to get the studio version, does this not work with the free version of resolve anymore?

Here is the error I encountered when I put the .lua file into the console ...deo editing pack/Snap Captions_V1.6.00/Snap Captions.lua:679: attempt to index local 'timeline' (a nil value) Does anyone have solution for it? 🥲

You dropped the video at the right moment, i'm a beginner video editor, i know how to edit reels for creators and digital businesses but using the workflow premiere pro - after effects, which really i don't like. I've been falling in love with Davinci Resolve and never want to stop use it. Snap Captions is everything we need to speed up workflow when editing complex reels with animations and vfx for creators. I hope snap captions stays on davinci F O R E V E R! Glad i discovered your channel Orson. Keep posting videos, please! you help so much.

I just updated davinci to v19, and it says I have reached a limitation. Now I have to pay if I want this plugin to work. Is there another way to install this? It was working in v18
