Update please? Our old hamii got severely sunburnt this summer and turned yellow. 😢Not sure how to handle getting them green again. I’d hate to chop them all down being they are screening the neighbors house for privacy. We have lived in the valley for over 20 years and the summers seem to be getting drier and hotter. Help!!

How do I get the trunk thicker? It is growing in height so fast that the trunk has to be staked otherwise any wind could snap it in half.

I read the fruit is high in vitamin C and antioxidants. It can be made into chutney fruit preserves that will require a sweetener as it can be bitter.

I planted one that did well with water the first summer. Then I thought it was ok, but late May and June nearly killed it. I was away on work and I came back to no foliage and near death. I continued the water and now it’s starting to get foliage back. Really surprised it did that since it seemed very very strong through the first summer. Needs water.
