I only have one peanut butter fruit tree in my yard and it does self pollinate. I am not aware of any other peanut butter fruit trees in my entire neighborhood. It is doubtful that there are any within at least quarter mile.

I have 2 plants growing in containers that I do put into a unheated hothouse during my winter its not that cold where I live or that hot either. However they are around 5 years old have some sort of dieback with a black fungus on the trunk which I have never seen on any plants. They have never flowered? More fertiliser or would they do better in the ground? The temperature range is 93 in summer to some nights in winter 35
What does peanut butter taste like..? and how long to maturity? (i have a 3 gallon, about 2 foot tall and a little leggy, over wintering in a garage. contemplating planting in ground. 9a Texas)

i think its root or soil temp matters more than air or climate temps , 43/46C in pot will surely cook any plant
43 of the last 49 days were 53c plus. My trees had no issues.
