This alien is based on the nonfiction children's picture book Aliens Are Coming! The 1938 War of the Worlds Radio Broadcast. Pair this craft with the book in classrooms and after school projects. This project is also great for hobbyists who enjoy a good art project.

Pencil Animation: Betty Skelton, airplane stunts 1940s
มุมมอง 106ปีที่แล้ว
This pencil animation was made in honor of Betty Skelton, "The First Lady of Firsts." Skelton lived an amazing life, flying a biplane as a teenager and then later racing cars and even working with NASA. This animation took over a month to create. I used various photo references and based the "walk-by" and plane stunts on a film from the late 1940s. I took a lot of film stills and began by repro...

INVENTION OF FILM
มุมมอง 91ปีที่แล้ว
Before the motion picture was invented, there was the still photograph. A man named Eadweard Muybridge was hired to determine what a horse looked like when it was running. Muybridge created a row of cameras that would snap a photo when a horse ran over trip threads he lay on the ground. It was soon discovered that when the images were flipped, the horse became animated. In came Thomas Edison to...

My great great Grand-father was born in 1888. He was Irish. Buster Keaton was his favorite actor with Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. He passed away in 1989 at 101. Until the end he watched the movies of his youth and laughed like if it was the fist time he watched them.

It would be called 'cruelty to children' now but both Buster Keaton and Jackie Chan (and Sammo Hung) grew up the hard way with tough parents or teachers. And they produced amazing comedy stunts. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I'm sorry you were disturbed by the music. This video was aimed at younger people who might not know who Keaton is. I'm trying to build the next generation of Keaton lovers. The music is 80s inspired but with a modern twist called "synth wave" or "cyber punk." For the next one I'll add jazz or something for a larger audience.

@@EROLaliasKIZILMASKE I actually lowered the music each time one of them spoke - the problem the interview is audio from the 60s and not the best quality. What I'd have to do is edit the audio--remove the static noise, bring up the vocals on especially the interviewer, and then put it into a video and sink up clips that match what they're talking about. That's a longer project I plan on doing at some point.

He still did some stalls and a friend's private airport we did touch and go. He left the door off and bray got the door seat haha The first stall she grabs my leg I said it's ok and the rest she was fine with If you have a chance it's so worth it I hope to go to Washington and do the wing walking some time
