For the Four Kings, I thought you could swap the Covenant ring after you arrive in the boss arena, but it has been a while since I last played so maybe I am remembering wrong.

Great video! Just stumbled upon it on the main page. I see great potential in your content without a doubt :3 I first stumbled upon Demon's Souls on the now defunct Gametrailers site, saw the original trailer and was hooked! Got the game Deluxe Edition at launch, it remains the only 'Souls' game that I've 'replayed' like, 7-10 times on various characters and builds, the paradigm shifts and play style was always interesting to me, great to see something so nostalgic to me but also a challenge/twist added ontop (and its not the Remake!)

I don't think they gave us another truly infinite source of mp until Shadow of the Erdtree's Blessed Blue Dew talisman, and that recovers like 1 or 2 fp every couple seconds 😂

I have gazillions of hours in this game and did not know the pursuer had a long range attack. Is it exclusive to his boss fight in the ballista arena?

Oh wow what a unique challenge run of Dark Souls 2 Im excited to see how she gets throu- RIKA FURUDE?!

I decided to do a pure black tendency run a few months ago and honestly...yeah no it's arguably easier than pure white. It's a bit harder at the start but with enemies dropping more souls and items it compensates really quickly. Granted I did use Demonbrandt and realized that you can just...use soul remains to easily kill black phantom NPCs for that weapon's scaling and I was done in record time. I should really do another run.

Pro tip: The Tower Knight also takes extra damage on the chest, its a nice alternative if his head clips on the walls

I played ds originally on the ps3, my bro sold it so once the remake on the 5 came out I crushed it again on a caster. I even did the white and black events per world. Magic in this one is pretty close to cheap especially if you start free aiming shots

its so painful that it probably IS possible to beat four kings and manus but the RNG is so tight and inhumane that theres almost no point to dump a months worth of grinding for it

I always forget the absolute disrespect shown to the Maiden in the ending when you kill her. Stepping on her head is bad enough, grinding it into the muck with your heel is just spiteful lol
