Hello. I don't know how much time you need to put the subtitltes but I really thank you for them because I use your videos to learn English and I can say your vocab is hard (that's a compliment, I love it). I learn many words and their pronunciation, your voice is calm and clear, it's perfect in my opinion to learn English. Besides I love Fromsoftware's games and challenges so watching your videos is a way to mix my English learning and appreciation for the soulslike challenges. So thank you very much for your videos 😊
Brabo!! Treinar inglês é dessa forma mesmo, na prática! Você vai longe nessa, meu brother! Eu aprendi da mesma forma, não desista e torne-se o Lorde Prístino!! A huge thanks to the awesome content that the miss Eleum Loyce does!! Your challenges are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good and always very funny! I hope you get thousands and thousands of subscribers and your channel grow a lot!!
19:00 fyi: rot breath is actually a better spell than Ekzykes’s decay. Decay costs 35% more mana but only deals 25% more physical damage and the rot buildup is EXACTLY the same. No difference at all
Only if you do something like this you realize how viable some things truly are. A must watch for people who complain that everyone uses the same things.
i love it when you upload. i feel like a lot of other souls challenge runners always include like really weird s*xual jokes in their vids, but your ones are always calm, comfy and wholesome. also your challenges always seem more fun rather than outright hellish difficulty, and i like that. its really cool seeing underused gear/spells. Love the videos, cant wait for more!
I absolutely love the magic in Elden Ring compared to the other FromSoft games. But wow, the ones that have to 'interact' with the ground geometry are so finicky... Too bad you didn't get Frenzyflame for Gideon, honestly. One of the funniest ways to destroy him is Inescapable Frenzy. "He only has 2 encounters" what? Are you aware that Commander Niall and Commander O'Neil aren't the same person? Command O'Neil (Swamp) has both legs, Commander Niall (Snowfields) has a sword-peg-leg.
Yeah I should've worded that differently, I guess I meant more like there are only two versions of the enemy that you have to fight as opposed to something like the avatars that you have to fight like 10 times lol
I really like how this runs main struggle is the learning curve for using the magic in the right spots. In general the way spells have evolved in the souls series is really cool ngl.
You kinda popped off one, miner Melania was super impressive, idk if I’d have the patience lol. Also the bear spell is actually insane, talk about slept on
fantastic video as always! have you considered doing a modded (convergence, etc.) run with something like the ds2 challenge wheel? it'd be neat to see a new side where you have less info on a given circumstance :)
Love runs like this. Did something like this pre-DLC. Really enjoyed it. That Tibia pun at the end of Placidusax is some JK Leeds level stuff. Well done.
For all the good luck you got with the appropriate/easy spell types, the wheel gave you Stonedigger for Malenia. I don't think there's been a greater contrast between me laughing myself sick seeing that wheel result, and being seriously impressed watching the winning run. Phenomenal job!!
I have officially watched all your videos and I can confidently say you make some S tier content. Very much so appreciate the time and energy you put into these videos
I got the Heart Stolen first time i entered phase 2. It had me in peals of laughter, this game, or rather the DLC, probably the game too, is a comedy masterpiece. Big heads, riding up the jagged peak the face the dragon-traitor bayle the dread with captain ahab, all the incredibly unsubtle bloodborne references like the putrescenr knight weapon and the winter lanterns, i think actually called winter lanterns by one item, all culminating in the ending fight again radahn 2, he's back for more, giving a piggyback ride to a guy who'll steal your heart and get a custom death screen like it's a meme.
Your scadutree blessing wasn't too high for Putrescent Knight, he just has a huge weakness to Holy damage :D Also, props for putting up bespoke subtitles! My wife is hard of hearing and really appreciates when people go through that effort.
Honestly had so much fun watching this video, was a refreshingly creative and very entertaining challenge run that Ijust think was a brilliant idea and can't wait to try myself. I would also like to ask for the random magic school wheel as well maybe as a link in the description since i cant seem to find it and it would make it much easier to to enjoy this creative challenge run at home.
@@eleumloycee that's awsome thanks for that, if I'm not mistaken i believe you can even add a link to the actual wheel you used in the video for easier access and more accuracy to the run!
4:08 FYI depending on how you want to count it you can kill Commander O Neil without attacking by luring him out into the scarlet rot waters(there's a specific geyser below a tree branch i think) and get the needles that way.
Next to the O‘Nail area are scarlet rot fountains and you can lure him into them he get the dmg and the smoke after the fountain does a bit of dmg too with torrent you can avoid getting hit by them and him at the same time as long as you don’t get distracted
@@eleumloycee oml I got a reply! xD Hi :D ive enjoyed the journey and I will continue on the ride! Keep it up! I noticed youve gotten more comfortable with things too, and the jokes more witty! Enjoyed every second of it lol, but keep up the great work. also fyi: you and JK-leads inspired me to do a challenge run myself! (running a bow only!)
@@eleumloycee I actually recognized what you were doing with their appearance before I saw the name but when I saw Thistle I was like, yep I thought right!
I have only played with Igon, mind, but I've found running to the side of Bayle's dual strafe lasers worked for me, i think. Forget if it was the usual fromsoft dragon run to the left or run to the right though. And running into the wall during the phase 2 transition so some of them miss because they collide with it and the rest line up a bit more instead of threatening you from more angles. I think. Also, have you thought about Nioh/2 for a challenge such as these? I noticed a reply saying you liked variety for your challenges, and i figure there's plenty of variety in the games, either from the weirdly good items or unconventional spells, or from restricting yourself based on stance, or elements. Figured I'd ask. If i haven't before. I forget.
@@eleumloycee I'm going to say some more good things about them. Specifically 2, 1 isn't as good but still alright. Combat skill ceiling is the highest I've ever experienced and I'm nowhere near it, the skill floor is surprisingly low and the learning process is engaging, multifaceted and full of eureka moments, the build diversity and meaningfulness of stats and this and the combat make, 2 a lot more than 1, a very self-expressive game, great art direction, enemy and boss intricacy and in 2 enemy diversity. Level design is pretty good, reasons to explore, if there are gimmicks they'll be nothing groundbreaking, 1 is more interesting in this, and despite its lesser enemy variety they are more threateningly placed, I think. 2's DLCs are absolutely worth it, fun levels, bosses, moves, weapons, enemies, 1's DLCs I remember thinking the first was bland in its reuse of the new enemy it introduces in regards to one level but the second and third were more fun and substantial, but they do introduce new weapon types...and then 2 puts the DLC weapon types and original enemies into its base game, as well as 2 of its own weapons and 2 more in the DLCs. Can't say for 1's NG+ cycles but 2's, the NG+ isn't that meaningful but NG+2, dream of the demon, alters some enemy placement, introduces a new enemy buff, and makes changes to boss movesets. 1 isn't bad by any means, there's really cool stuff and worth a playthrough, but it does feel like someone is making a Dark Souls-like and it even benefits, more than it draws back, from its Dark Souls, I think. 2 is someone luring you in with Dark Souls and then telling you that it's actually Bloodborne, but you can turn it into Devil May Cry 6 if you'd like. Uh, downsides to the games, 2 is really glowy and colourful and particley and you might not like that, lots of humans block in neutral which makes opening with low stance difficult, and the loot is randomised and you might find yourself spending a lot of time in menus and you might fill those menus with junk loot you forget to sell. Oh, and some bosses in 2 have a very low chance to drop new weapon moves and you might annoy yourself grinding for those. And the Axe feels a bit noticeably less complex and full of moves than other weapons, I personally think.

Your challenges are so damn unique, I love it. Don't mind my pet snake eating you. They mean well.
The video may be a little longer, but its worth to watch every single minute.

From impersonator to color blind and now gambling. You got everything 😂
Baby wake up, new Eleum Loyce video dropped
"Defending Leyndell from the mooning wizard wasn't exactly in the job description" killed me
Not sure if you knew but there's a passive fp regen talisman in the dlc for future fp troubles
Oh yeah I was actually stacking it with the branches in the Elden Beast fight I just forgot to mention it!
You could beat Commander ONiall with the swamp, to progress Millicent's quest line so she xan fight the Godskin with you.
