@zackrepo97 we use the Gibbs GV series nets, rubber coated nets but pretty sure they have a full rubber option as well. Extremely heavy duty, the nets came with a 48" handle and we ended up cutting around 6 inches off which works perfect for us! Highly recommend them for kayak fishing! Thanks for watching! 🙌

@427max thank you! We were originally shopping for a boat a few years ago, then stumbled across kayak fishing on TH-cam. The rest is history! A lot of people can't wrap their heads around this being a choice for us to fish this way, if they could experience catching fish the way we do, they would know where the obsession for this sport comes from! Hahaha a.co/d/8TCOqz1 Here's a link to our net holder, it's made for paddles but fits our net handles and gaff handles perfectly, we angle them a bit so the bag of the net sits on the bow of our Kayaks, so far it's been a great place to store them. Hi. The West Coast spoons you are using , what series of the spoons are working best for you and which ones out of that series ? Thank you

@louiseschricker9963 we use a combination of Phat-E spoons, little phat E spoons, Fish-E spoons, and the new Sex-E spoons. The patterns we primarily use for our fishing are No Bananas, Herring Aid, Irish Cream, and Blue Silver, we're always trying to match the baitfish in the water so early season the smaller Sex-E and Little Phat-Es are our Go To. As the bait gets bigger and the Salmon start feeding more aggressively, we usually go with bigger spoons, always trying to match what they're feeding on.

Ya it takes a decent amount of effort to get the stock Pedals off, especially with the Salt build up, but now the new Pedals are no problem, especially after some grease! Thanks for watching!

Thank you! For our Lingcod rods, we use West Coast Fishing Tackles Medium Heavy Pacific Jigging Series rod, super light yet powerful enough to bring in some huge fish! Our reels are Piscifun Alijoz 400's, for lures we primarily use West Coast Fishing Tackles 10oz swimbaits, or drift herring on a bait rig and 10oz sinker. For Rockfish and Salmon Jigging, we use the West Coast Fishing Tackle Light Action spinning rod, with a Daiwa BG 4500 spinning reel, and an Okuma Azores 4000h spinning reel, with these rods we are primarily using 2.7-4oz flat fall jigs, but they'll handle a 10oz swimbait as well no problem! Last but not least, for Salmon trolling, we use Shimano Trevalas rods, 7' Medium Light, with Piscifun Alijoz 300's, we've tried lots of rods and reels and so far these are the winners! @marcThespazz haven't had any issues yet, other than the sealions scaring all the fish away! 🤣🤣 normally if we see them around we try and fish away from them, nothing worse than reeling in a Salmon head with no body cause a sealion got it! Outriggers would definitely help with stability, not sure if they'd stop you from flipping though, we've never used them so can't say for sure. Thanks for watching! 🙌

For cooler temperatures, we wear drysuits with Carhartt baselayers. We use an NRS drysuit for Crystal and a Mustang Survival drysuit for myself, both we've been extremely happy with.

@Charactermatters650 💯% all of our screws and parts get coated with corrosion inhibitor twice a year, we each carry 5 extra sheer pins in our drives as well as two extra props each because you never know! Paddling these beasts home would be a nightmare! Thanks for watching! 🙌🙌

@chuckwoodward7440 I was pushing myself forward off of the seat and ended up losing my grip on the at the same time a smaller swell hit which threw me back in the seat. I was trying to get myself un snagged from a nasty reef and didn't have my net strapped in. The line wrapped around the net handle and knocked it loose. One thing after another! 😂😂😂

@AdamBettinelli the Sportsman pdl 120 would be a great option, I'm currently in the weight loss process as well, so I've been very picky about what gear I bring out with me, stopped carrying a crate and went with a horizontal rod storage from yak gadget. I find that the more storage I have, the more gear I end up bringing that I don't even use 😆 will be moving up to the autopilot 136 next season, but have been extremely happy with the 120. 🙌
