    Bacteria double in 20 min in ideal conditions. S. cerevisiae in an hour.

      BeeRich33 not all bacteria have a generation time of 20 min. E. coli is the standard ;)

      @@LAURENTMARTORELL I never said that. You should expect double rates to be 20 minutes in industry. Also, in optimal conditions.

      BeeRich33 sorry but it is not the case for all bacteria even in ideal condition ! Working in microbiology, I know what I'm talking about :)

      @@LAURENTMARTORELL Having worked in microbiology for >30 years, take some free advice. Until you identify what's in your plant, you have to assume it's the worst case scenario. Your plant won't have free endless government funding forever and ever. Believe me.
