Kraków is in my oppinion most beautiful place in Poland (Polska 😊). You must visit "sukiennice" (cloth hall) and university museum "Collegium Maius". The museum is free, but just for looking. If you want to come in you can enter to the yard(dziedziniec 😂), but for the rest you need a guide. You should also visit "Zamek Królewski na Wawelu" (Wawel Royal Castle". I hope that i helped 😀

We took a train from Prague to Berlin (around 6 hours) and it was about 30ºC outside and the aircon had broken. Also, we forgot to actually book a seat with our ticket so we were just chucked into this 1 person wide corridor for the ENTIRE TRIP. I felt like I was in a sauna. I'd never been more relieved to be off a train!
I could watch you guys ALL DAY! I'm travelling India in August next year and expect A LOT of train journeys

We had the shoe problem in Playa haha. One good rain storm and your shoes get soaked. Something about wet shoes really brings out the smell lol!

I took a train from Paris to Budapest in April and the top bunk was THE BEST it got the most head space out of the 3 (I can sit up straight) and it's cold af in Budapest in April (as least for me cause I'm from Thailand) but taking the train was definitely the most fun I had on the trip to Budapest
The bright side: the train cell was like a sauna. Basically travel in a spa.

Went on one of those trains to Lourdes with my grandparents and they had to go to the bathroom every 20 minutes during the night...not fun getting down from the top bunk in the dark 😂

I went trough the same thing this summer in Romania. No AC, no windows that could be opened for a ride that should have taken 7 and a half hours but ended up being a 9 hour train ride from hell. It was over 35 degrees Celsius outside! I don't even want to know hot many there were inside :(

I've never taken a sleeper...I just tried to make the chair as comfortable as possible. I guess it's not a lot more comfortable with the sleeper trains haha

It's probably still better than 21 hrs on the BUS to Budapest all the way from The Netherlands. Especially when it's freezing in the front and blazing hot in the back...
I had a train last summer Budapest to Prague ~7 hours and the AC was broke, it was about 95-105 degrees outside, and the windows DID NOT OPEN. There was a baby crying and everyone was so uncomfortable (including my nose from all the BO).

i travelled around Ukraine this summer by train, n damnn it was hott , but we did have running water, electricity n even air con !
I feel your pain! Summer 2015 I went to Europe with my school and we took a train from England to Paris and it was roasting on there! But I chose the middle bunk so it wasn't too bad. haha But funny story, the guys next to us when we were about an hour or two into the train ride accidentally pulled the fire alarm, they stopped the train in the middle of no where and people came sprinting into our cabin asking where the fire was and we were like.uhhh its the next cabin. 😂😂😂

You guys, this seems bad, but I was once on a 11-hour overnight train in Thailand with (1) no beds and (2) cockroaches (yes, multiple) crawling out of the curtains. I literally had to create a deet barrier to deter the roaches from climbing on me in my sleep. YOLO LOL
+avafrav omg and here I was daydreaming about low cost travelling in Thailand
OK but tbh we thought we would save money by taking the "non-sleeper train" in 2nd class when first class wouldve been like 6 bucks more per person... so yeah 6 bucks hopefully no roaches that may have been preferable. Would recommend Thailand despite the train experience from hell!

Hm. The overnight trains (that I've been on) in China have washrooms and outlets and enough storage space (above the door). Dont know how much they cost though. And there aren't any ladders, only two metal steps for your feet xD.
