When putting my front tire back on, I had to work with it a lot it was acting like the forks were closer together. It did not slide in easy like yours at all. Any idea what might be wrong?
Interesting...you torque the axle first, then drop it off the stands. I was kinda confused by that in my manual, since it said to bounce the bike before torqueing the axle to ensure rebound worked, but never mentioned raising it back up on the headstand, so I tightened it on the sidestand after bouncing it and then just made sure it was flush with the forks. Should I redo it on the headstand? Also, I torqued the axle using the 19mm hex while hold the other side with a 22mm sock, instead of the other way around. Is this gonna make a critical difference?
Just a heads up, you want to use the 19mm hex key instead of tightening the pinch bolts when you torque the axle. If you tighten the pinch bolts, it's not actually tightening that bolt to the axle itself, it's pulling the fork. Not sure if that makes sense.
I want this channel to grow because you’re the best at explaining stuff
Thanks for including torque specs. A lot of channels skip over that part.
Thank you for your R6 videos! I recently also got a 2013 and have found these very helpful!
Awesome! Great to hear that!
Nice and simple straightforward! Subbed
Very good tutorial 👌 👍. Thank you for sharing
Good help bro they were charging 100 dolars just to do that so easy
So glad we could help you with the job and save you some money! Thanks for watching!
Interesting with your torque values, mine is a 2014 but same bike as yours but my manual says 21nm for pinch bolts, 35nm for caliper bolts.
I’ll double check those.
Very professional video thank you

What is the default front wheel size brother?
You should have held the brake on to tighten calliper bolts, school boy stuff
