This sounds amazing! I'm glad a manufacturer dedicated themselves to create an exhaust that has that deep boxer rumble that we all love. Once I get my GR86 this is definitely the exhaust I'm buying.
Have the track edition installed on my 2023 BRZ! Sounds amazing and install only took an hour! Everything fit perfectly! Welds were perfect!!!! 1000% satisfied with my purchase! And even cruising at highway speeds 70-80mph absolutely no drone in the cabin. Absolutely love it!!!!

i Finally made the Call to order my GR86 for Austria (Europe) i would love to pair it with an AWE Touring exhaust but i think due laws its probably not legal here , anyways , awesome Sound from the Touring (The Track one is for me a bit to loud)

What's the difference between touring and track? Touring actually sounds louder in these clips to me but maybe the way the microphone picks up tones?
Touring Edition has our patented, straight-through 180 Technology resonators in the rear to kill drone frequencies at highway speeds. There's no packing material in the resonators themselves, though, so the tone will not change over time. See imagery at awebrz86.com 👍
How much louder is the touring version compared to something like the ARK Grip or HKS Hi power spec L? Seems like it's mostly a straight pipe design despite the extra drone canceling resonators.
Can't comment on the aforementioned brands, unfortunately. But you are correct with your observation, thus why 180 Technology is so great. Completely unrestricted and no funny business like packed mufflers or J pipe side branches. Full bodied tone without drone (and no tone change over time).

Roll forward a year and my GR86 is on it's way. Are there 'certified' (if that's the word) re-sellers within the UK? I'm in Scotland but am willing to travel to get the Touring Kit!

I like the sound of the Touring but I wish we had dB readings to with all of this
We perform the SAE J149 standard to test dB and the BRZ tested at 96 dB during that test. This is on par with what we would expect from any aftermarket exhaust system.
@@awetuning That's good to know. I really like the sound. I wonder if I could add a short straight thru muffler to the mid pipe to get the dB down just a bit more. I've learned I like it below 92 dB

Please tell me the touring does not have hwy drone, the 70mph clip seems like it doesn't, I just want to verify.

I went to their website to find out what the 180 technology is, and it’s designed to cancel droning. I would assume it sounds exactly like this clip

@@CruiseControl1 It doesn't drone at all on the highway. I'm the owner of the car in the video that they did the testing with from the start. I have a header on the car now and still quiet inside

Included hangar collars to prevent side-to-side shifting of the system.

The exhausts do not tamper with any emissions equipment.

Why does my exhaust have a whistle to it? Is that normal with the break in period?
You can double check that all of your connections are properly tightened. The break in period is about 1000 miles, due to natural soot buildup the system in general will mellow out.

To AWE, I would like to know how this sounds on the older generation. I have a 2020 brz, but I just won’t get myself to buy it until I hear it. I also won’t mind being that person you can use to show how it is on the old gen, if there is any way I can contanc personally.

Question? Just got the AWE touring exhaust for my 2020 brz ts, So I wanna get headers next possibly a downpipe. How can I tell which downpipes are gonna fit this and which aren't?
As long as the components are designed to mate to the factory exhaust, our exhaust will mate to said component.
Do you have any sound clips/vids with this exhaust on? Cause I wanted to see how different it sounds compared to on the new car. And if that whole no drone thing is the same
Will sound loud and obnoxious once you install a header and high flow catted front pipe. I'll be going with Magnaflow instead. Sounds good tho with stock everything else.

How come the track pops more than the touring ? If the touring doesnt having packing in the “resonator”
One doesnt bark more than the other, purely just what was captured in the particular moment. Touring gives a lot of backtalk ;)

2016+ are the oldest gens we've verified fitment for.
Will you guys be making a “street” spec that will be a little quieter? I love the tone, but if the volume could be turned down like a notch and a half it would be a smash hit with the “I’m sorry neighbors” crowd.
Eh, no plans at this time. Aside from cold start, it's quite easy to creep around with the Touring Edition.
Wait till someone slaps on a header and high flow catted or catless front pipe. Will sound obnoxiously loud.
The touring is only loud if you start inside a garage and it’s only for a max of probably 20 seconds then it goes back to low rpm’s.
It’s honestly not that loud and it’s easy to keep it quiet while driving and loud when u want it to be
@@manny8898 That's quite reassuring thank you. I often leave the house before 7am and minimal neighbour disruption is always a consideration.
What’s the delivery time?
If ordered through a dealer with stock on hand, turnaround is immediate. If ordering direct, and it needs to be built, lead time is a few weeks.
I would instantly become the least favorite tenant in my complex if I installed this on my BRZ. Sounds great though!
The only criticism for this video is not respecting the 1000 mile break in period for the fa24 that the brz in this vid has no done.
