We try but often times she moves out of camera range. At times even with more than one camera rolling. Also I fish more often than her. So does at times, probably more often than not catch the first fish. Though it was me that taught her how to fish. I'd dare say I'm a much better hunter and snow skier than fisherman. We do alright... hard on those SLOW bite days.
Thank you my man, truly is an honor having you with us! We hope you enjoy the Fishing Vids, let us know any bad points! Outside of that we fish for many types of fish, enjoy! Ken & Lea
Oh yeah! I don't do boredom well, so bites & shakers I'm fine! More so being out of Striper run was really wondering what was out there. Right on thanks for that... tight lines! Ken & Lea
Yeah I know... it was a bit out of season for this trip. Still some fairly good shakers, plus think we caught 1 keeper this trip or the one before it. Hope you're enjoying the fishing vids! Ken & Lea
You know man, I was thinking the SAME DANG THING lol. Now I don't target Catfish much but always figured they'd be in calmer waters, perhaps backwaters also areas with more "shelter" for them. I hear this is a sandy bottom. But... we figured Striper would be slow, so it was a back up heh. Due to the noise? Or them killing the fishing? As I swear I'm about to start saying "Boats equal bites". More often than not when a boat goes by, here comes the bite. Probably coincidence, maybe. Same with Seals... had many fishmen bounce, while bites seem strong. Your point is helpful thanks to be sure. Some point we plan to target Catfish heavy for a bit. Ken & Lea
While I was thinking same thing for the Rio Vista area, Catfishing probably not so great there, a spot like Westgate Landing I'd think they would. We have pulled them up at Westgate, but never tried Rio Vista main channel. Heck always fun to pull a Catfish out, but I personally prefer targeting Stripers. Even Trout....
@@hershisadventuresincalifor9725 same i just recently started to bait fish again this year after 5 years of quitting since folks like to watch bait videos more than lure videos. Am more of a lure guy than bait but I gotta switch it up from time to time.
But might have been slow and fish small but at least you were catching them. All those rocks makes it hard to walk around, have to be careful you don't fall and break something
Yeah we expected Striper wouldn't be good, part of the reason I wanted to try! We did think some Catfish would bite. Yeah the rocks made getting to the poles SLOW, missed fair amount of bites due to them. Ironically I just may have been doing this day on a damaged left foot. X-Ray still pending. Thanks for the note Dave! P.S. still was a most enjoyable day! Ken & Lea
@@davidgarcia9808 Well since we've been running the channel fishing. About 4 1/2 years. Damage I endured. Falling on my tail bone twice on Delta rocks. Once took 3 months till pain stopped. 1 treble hook into top of my head, 1 treble hook into my right finger (see 2 vids ago), a 3oz weight broke off during cast hit me in right eye socket, Bashed 2 knees, grasped a huge amount of thorns breaking a fall, then the foot, we were on Delta rocks as I started falling forward to not hit face first I stopped the fall with my left foot. To date I've had about 8 broken bones (martial arts), this doesn't feel the same. But I think it is either chipped or fractured. X-rays due in end of next month. They didn't rush them since that I left the damage unchecked for like 6 months. My bad long winded there....
@@davidgarcia9808 Oooo there is my limit there my friend. I've done sooo many ummm over the edge things, but I don't do heights!! Not sure if it's a phobia or what, I'll literally Lock Up. When at heights. Oddly I can take planes and don't freak out. Uneasy the ENTIRE trip. Which btw when I first moved to Singapore the flight was 25 hours. They said "going against winds slowed them, plus having to alter course some during flight". Returning from Asia was 17 hours. Have you Sky Dived? Btw my painting hobby is a bit safer heh. Not sure if I can post any photos of my paintings here...
Tell you what I'll make you a deal. Next time you make more sense when you send a comment. Rest of us will try to make heads or tails as to what you're trying to say. We got a deal?
Thank you Ken and Lea for having us on! It was a great time regardless of the slow bite! We will get em next time!
You two as well... for sure! Also if you two want to do that trip we were talking about I'm down! I'll be looking at the weather tonight and tomorrow.
Nice Catches....TightLines!!!!
Heh thanks was fair. We knew Striper run in California was done. Which is exactly why we wanted to see what might bite! Tight lines.....

The current in that area is a bit fast for cats in the area though and i would stop fishing after the boats show up for sure.

@@hershisadventuresincalifor9725 i tend to find more cats in dead ends and current that doesnt push 2oz weights around

@@HangNFish Yeah like Westgate & American Legion Park. Both raw Delta waters.
