Reinitiation of the Puerto Rico Fish Aggregating Device (FAD) System

Over the past several months, the Beyond Our Shores Foundation has deployed four submerged fish aggregating devices from Fajardo to Arecibo, Puerto Rico, to reinitiate the PR FAD system along the north coast of the island. With the new deployments begins BOSF's work to also reinitiate FAD and FAD fishery research with local recreational, charter, and artisanal anglers on the island. This film showcases the recent deployments and also provides information on how anglers can get involved to collect data to justify the need for the longevity of PR FAD system.
